I just feel like it's too late for CCP to save Dust 514, these monthly updates should've been happening along time ago. PS4 is coming out soon and there is very little or no reason at all for many people to stay on the PS3 to play a game that needs so much more content,fixes and weapons balancing. Dust 514 is a great idea but that's all it is right now, sure we've all had plenty of fun playing this game. But it's missing so much, these upcoming updates such as 1.4 and further on might make everyone here happy for awhile but I just don't feel like it'll last long even though I don't know what's in the future updates I just don't believe CCP has anything epic ready anytime soon.

-New maps (no not maps mixed and edited that we already have) will probably have about a month of excitement

-fixes (getting rid of invisible walls, messed up terrain) although needed won't be a big deal but we will be glad the problems gone

-New weapons will probably need to be balanced as CCP doesn't seem to really test their weapons enough, finding the balance will take a month or two while we lose isk by getting killed by some ****** using an OP weapon. Then we'll want a respec when CCP figures out how to balance it or nerf it.

-EVE/Dust connection: this game is still a lobby shooter, we're stuck in our quarters and we can't really do much to affect EVE

All of these things could've been improved with monthly updates that should've been happening along time ago (chromosome build) I don't see why we couldn't have had the flaylock or scrambler rifle in chromosome. Waiting 6 months and jamming everything in the update seems pretty stupid since it wasn't much of a change anyways. I'm sorry but I just really feel like Dust 514 was a missed opportunity, CCP ran out of time. I don't believe that a PS4 version will come anytime soon. Possibly years since it's taken so long for them to figure out that they need more developers. I'll be here until this game dies or when I get the PS4.
