This games whack ass shooting mechanics are driving me nuts. No aim assist? when the hell does a console shooter have no aim assist. The damn Flaylock is absurd kills me in two shots every time and from what i hear its a sidearm..... Sniping in this game is way too easy, especially compared to Mag and Battlefield. Mag snipers where even more hidden because of the prone position but there's so much open space in this game its shooting fish in a barrel. and BF has bullet drop. If what they say is true that this will all get patched in a month than i will return in a month but i am going over to Battlefield instead. I was a big time mag player but these game mechanics and unfair matchmaking odds is too much to bear. oh yeah, whats with the games matchmaking!? These matches are so lopsided its crazy, i have no chance against the guys who grinded and why am i paired against them in the first place? I think i almost punch my TV because this game is so out of whack from the beta version. I means What the hell were the developers doing during the beta tests? these game mechanics should have been totally polished out by then! Totally not cool, if the game improves in a month than i will come back cause so much of this game is really cool but Fact remains it feels like @ss compared to other console shooters. Why waste my time with these Chiclets.End Rant

Did they remove Aim Assist?
don't delete, let the passive accrue and come back in a few months. They are working on matchmaking now, and hopefully in the not to far future we have a decent balanced matchmaking system. They tweaked it some recently, which was for the bad.. but it is not final and being worked on, or something like that |

The flaylock is getting fixed. Everyone on this forum knows this except you. Matchmaking? So you wanna run around with the other losers all day long? How will that improve your game. The aiming could be a little bit better but we are all using the same aiming system. Same for all.
But hey.. Go back to COD. Everything is simple there and should be right up your alley. |

He is going to Battlefield, and everyone knows matchmaking can be very one sided at times and is a legit complaint right now. Some people have no clue about any changes until it hits the actual patch notes in the game loading screen ( not a defense for the OP on not knowing, a defense for many not knowing.. I have had to direct many a merc to the future patch notes section ) |

some people need it, it can be a ***** to keep a reticle on target at distance with the DS3 at times.. theres no reason at all to have an assist with mouse though |

oh come on dude i am new to the game too man, its still pretty cool. But the community is pretty harsh. Hopefully people will be more encouraging of others because they will kill the game entirely. CCP will fix these issue in 1.3 and 1.4 hang tight dude. |

Yeah they did remove the aim assist, but it will be coming back in 1.4. 1.3 is a bunch of rebalancing with certain weapons. |

Yeah it is a legit complaint. I only play with my corporation now or my alliance members since its pointless to play any games on your own now because its basically instant lose. But these changes are a pain to wait for but they are coming at least. |

Yeah only Dualshock for those who would ask... Mouse User will not get the aim assist from 1.4 you really don't need it because its so easy to use it once your practice it if you're new or if you're a veteran than you know what mean. (easy is not a negative term, please don't chew me up for that part) lol |

Aim assist doesn't mean aim assist all the time... sometimes it means comfortability controls. for example look at shooters like Halo 4 or Battlefield3 or even MAG. shooting a person in the head is much more comfortable compared to this games clunky controls. i mean yeah its still aim assist, but it can be friction to help control shooting when fast frantic fights go on. but check the post again bud its more than aim assist issue. Matchmaking, Aiming, lopsided games. ect. heck that make any man quit. |

yeah i agree with you there minor. Hell i was away from the game for 4 days because i got so mad. but i always seem to come back at some point since they game get changes every month |
