I'd like to see the LAVs take damage equivalent to the HP of the merc they run over. If you hit a heavy with with 400 shields and 1000 armor, you get the kill, but your LAV takes damage equivalent to the victim's HP profile, 400 HP in shielding and 1000 HP in armor. Generally, other classes with more lightly tanked suits would do less damage, but it would still deter excess murder taxiing BIG TIME. |

In a squad last night, we jokingly were thinking it'd be awesome if it ripped off their shields and tossed them into the air.
But realistically, I think that if LLAVs actually were a possible way of getting WP without getting kills, I believe that would fix a large part of the problem. Often, I have kept teammates alive with the shield repper and kept my active scanner on the objective all game with NO WP in return. I truly think that, that is why people tend to run people over, not only is it easy kills but it's the only way to get WP in it, apart from vehicle kill assists from your gunner.

This idea has already been suggested multiple times, and CCP has already responded by saying they don't plan to do something like this.
Instead, they're fixing the collision models for the LAVs in 1.4 to make it a lot less likely to run a player over and more likely to brush them off to the side unless the LAV is going close to full speed. |

I love this idea. If I am running my proto and some dude hits me with a jeep i would love to see them loose 742 hp |

thats fukin weak lav's should kill people who get hit by them not swept aside |

CCP is so ******** about LAVs. They should absolutely take a chunk of damage if they hit anything, walls, Mercs, etc. if you hit a heavy going full speed, the heavy and the LAV should die. |

add a gear restricition prevent full proto ppl from entering and ull see a lot less lavs running u over...
proto seems to be the cause of all nerfes and buffs now a days... |
