This is one of the reasons wy i cant find any friends to play Dust.
It is verry agressive to start to play.
You dont have a quest to learn how to play.
All you have is the Academy...
Started another char and what happend was ...
Just got out of the academy, with 10k wp.
The first merc that killed was wearing all proto suit \ wep...
Dont matter what i do... he will allways kill me.
I think that we could at least have a more just way to battle...
One idea could be: A side from having ( Ambush \ Skirmish \ Domination \ Ambush OMS )
We could ad like a ( Militia ) battlel, were you could only fight with militia gear...
Skill will allways count... just think it would be much less agressive for new mercs.
Just a thoght...

Good idea... that way we still have to spend isk on the battle...
That way the game is based, would be intact.
Other idea:
( Std Battle ) - All standard equipment
- Much less agressive to new mercs...
( Pro Battle) - Advanced and Proto equipment, with friendly fire included.
- For more expirienced players that really want to train for Planetary Conquest.
P.S: Both games would work on the same system as the Academy .... The game itsellf would auto pick Ambush \ Skirmish \ Domination... |

You are right on that.
It is possible, but think as if you were a new merc.
I am an expirienced merc mysellf... play since beta.
What i mean is its hard to start.
I have ben trying to get more people to play the game...
My resolt is,... they dont last long on the game.
Cus they all say:
Its an agressive start...
No tutorial or quest to teach you.
You start geting killed right away.
Losing money ... etc... etc.. etc
Ither way... its just an idea. :o)

They got to make a living... lol
Just like this marketing shot they made on the LAVs.
-1st they give you a free miitia LAV, for you to get a taste of it ... After... you get the Saga II for 15k. So you can have a better taste of it... Hehehehe
- Some weeks after they take off free LAVs
-Now you can only get a free LAV buying a pack .... Smart... really smart....
