As a corp, Subdreddit puts content creation ahead of winning. We like to create fun, try crazy tactics that might not be popular, help out our newbros, and we choose our friends and allies by who's a good time and has their heads on straight, not who's got a better KDR and has the fit of the month. If we take part in PC, it's purely for "The Experience".
Content creation is what makes New Eden entertaining. We were pretty darn sure we weren't going to win that big spaceship battle this evening, but you know what? We fight anyway, and it turned out to be the biggest battle in the history of video games. Nobody left that battle as irritated and frustrated as some of the corps I see on these dust forums, because it was an experience that was new and exciting. And so is Dust 514. You just have to create these experiences.
If you're going to stomp around and flex, do it with style. Do it with propaganda. Otherwise you're just making everyone nauseous because they're rolling their eyes so hard at you. Not seeing much gloating in this thread, but just throwing it out there, because in case you haven't noticed, it's pretty common, and uggggghhhhhhhh.
And King Kobrah, you're out of line. Reddit loves you and there's nothing you can do about it. Deal with it. Might as well stop being bitter and defensive. |
