 The idea is simple and hopefully, the execution should be too: The match starts and all of the turrets are deployed, they are also red and will shoot you immediately on sight.
 
 I know this might not sound like the most fun in the world, but neither is getting protostomped and this idea will alleviate this problem. Make it so that only one team can spawn in and limit the player count to 2 or 4. This still ensures teamwork etc. To make it more challenging just give the installations more range/damage/hitpoints.
 
 The explanation of this could simply be that you're attacking an automated research facility. Easy right?

  Turrets AI could work in swarm. Ie. If one turret AI spots you it rats you to others and they all try collectivelly to shoot you down  |

 i dont want to be the dream crusher in this thread but it wouldn't work. only forge guns and swarm launchers have more range than those turrets. dropsuiters who didn't spec into those weapons would be screwed. HAVs would only work if a whole squad used them at once but that is rare.
 EDIT
 forge guns and swarm launchers would be the only EFFECTIVE weapons that you could safely destroy turrets

 it would take the diversity out of the game with everybody running AV, forge gun, swarm, by the way i see it. it looks like a way for forge gunners to get tons of wp from turret destruction.
