I have an alt for derpships. Should I go caldari (shields) or gallant (armor)? Goods reasons would be much appreciated.

The man is doing his research on what kind of vehicle he wants to drive. Can't blame him for that.

Do you plan on landing the dropship easily?
Do you value speed or manuverability more?
If you like speed or aren't planning on landing then go shields as they have a natural resistance to swarms, the most common type of AV, also it takes less SP to get shield hardeners than it takes to get Armor hardeners
If you are using the derpship for transport and want some thing you can fit in tight spaces with then go Armor. |
