You can't rep what's being OTK'd by a grenade that the person you're repping can't dodge due to being too slow. Oh and 2 shield tankers can take down an enemy faster, and recover on their own at about the same rate as a repair tool.
armor suits have shields ya know, and the same can be said about 2 really good armor/regen tankers, no?

^^ ehh 115 for gallogis with max shields.. Honestly Armor tanking is only viable at proto logi levels, where it turns into regen tanking. I usually use those high slots for comp mods and a shield extender. My engagements shouldnt last more than three seconds unless im doing something wrong. Regen tanking is fuuun! |

Thing is we only had the assault type-II as the main assault/whatever role in chromosome and most, including myself, were used to the feel of shield tanking. It's the people who took it into their own hands to go armor this build who truly appreciate its benefits.
And flux , md , works wonders. |

And flux , md , works wonders. The problem with this argument is that MDs do 30% more damage to armor, so they're dying off slightly slower that shield tankers when fluxed. Where as outside of Flux you are at a massive disadvantage when facing a shield tanker with a MD.
True and true, but that aoe is monstrous even at basic, and I dont see that many shield tankers rockin a basic armor plate or anything. Just my observation.

I think you can eat a core locus if your ehp is full lol
core locus 600hp
178 shields 20% reduction to explosives: 178 x 1.20 = 214 damage taken off
386 left explosive dmg + 20% more effective to armor: 386 x 1.20= 463 damage to remaining armor
486- 463 = O look my smg lol
I'll last an extra smg shot longer than you harhahrahrahr |
