Lasers deserved their nerf. Swiping across someone with a Viziam and taking nearly half their HP was ridiculous. I'll agree they are underpowered but that's fine. Better than the old build laser rifles. Besides, most corny trolls who can't play moved on to Flaylock pistols anyways. I guess it'd be ok if they were slightly stronger against armor, but only at the cost of reduced shield damage. Otherwise they'd be a troll weapon again. They still do nasty shield damage though. |

Btw, lasers take as much photons to kill before as it does now - around half a battery
Hence why I don't use laser rifles. |

Ever heard of a nasty little item called the Carthum Assault Scrambler Pistol..... or more common in the field the Commando suit?
I've heard of them, I just don't care. I'll give it a Carthum is a nasty weapon, but most laser rifle users aren't skilled enough in short range combat to use them effectively. By the time you get to pistol range, the laser rifle is mostly useless by then. Also, the lack of slots on a Commando suit presents some defensive issues, especially against assault rifles. |
