It's been said in other posts but make L2 a hover mode button and give them the base hp of the logi lavs or just buff them, it's a medium vehicle yet a crappy little buggy has more hp? Seriously sort this out please. |

Yeah your comment is noobish and stupid, I can fly fine but even helicopters we have today have stabilisers |

If you could fly well enough you wouldn't be on the forums asking for an auto-hover feature. |

Hover mode would fix a lot of the aiming issues ADS have. I'd be for it. But health is definitely a must. Also, I think the ADS skill bonus should be looked at. 2% turret damage I get, but a measly 1% bonus to passive amps is not even worth it. |

It would fix the risk vs reward I believe and I know alot of decent pilots want all of this. |

Dropships can be made easier to level without making it automatic.
For instance, the pitch could fall back to level when the DS isn't taking any pilot input. It won't cancel momentum completely - that's the pilot's job IMO - but it will at least keep it from flying in an unexpected direction while you're aiming. |

All you have to do is tell them which target and they start shooting hehe. Of course size and tracking speed are factors that affect damage.
I wish that same technology was applied to vehicles. Lock your targets and the turrets aim themselves. |

I think a hover option would be a good addition. Or maybe a "Hold Altitude" button. the ship still moves around, but holds the same altitude. It would ake sense for computers to be able to calculate how much thrust to which engine to keep it at the same altitude regardless of orientation. Perhaps tilting it too much causes this feature to shut off, giving AV the chance to knock a dropship down by causing it to tilt too far, ass opposed to reduce its hp to zero. Either way, dropship piloting is next to useless for ADS. If we were troop transports only, then I would be fine with the current control scheme. But adding aiming in the mix is too much for the pilot to have to focus on. |

No to hover mode, it was a terrible idea months ago and it's a terrible idea now. Yes to the HP buff though, dropships do need that. |

A hover button takes away from pilot skill, seriously, if you can't bring and keep your ship into a hover then you don't deserve to fly. Also that thing will go badly wrong as soon as you take AV fire, knock back will knock you out of the mode instantly, and the fact that you have to drop the mode will slow down your reaction to any incoming threats such as RDV's and forge guns. It's frankly a waste of dev time, they can spend their time on other more worthwhile things. |

Ok a couple of pointers here, I can hover, variety is the spice of life and holding a button then letting go to switch between hovering isn't much to add is it? Neither is it complicated. You'd still have to get in position but it would just stabilise you faster by holding the button, simply let go to de stabilise, really not hard to implement and isn't complicated but thanks for your input. |

It just isn't needed, some people might like it. That's cool, they can use it if they want, but the fact remains that to do this, something that only a small portion of the player base (and an even smaller segment among pilots) will use will take developer time. And that time can be spent on much better things than a unneeded feature like this. And I object in principle too, flying is something that takes practice, that takes some skill, it's a point of pride, what you suggest takes away from that. |

Yeah it does take skill but like I said variety is the spice of life, it would be extremely easy to implement and there is no ACTUAL reason not to have it other than people like yourself attempting to back up your opinion based on more opinion, again I'll re iterate, it's extremely easy to implement and would be nice to have, im not petitioning for auto pilot |

Small arms is exploding with the advent of Merc soldiers, but before The Uprising Movement they were hardly at the forefront of modern tech. |

I can see no reason at all for there not being a hover button. Tying it to L3 and holding it to over, releasing to go back to normal, would help out ADS a LOT with aiming. Make the dropship transparent when aiming down on top of that, and I'd be a happy camper. Even if we don't get an hp buff, this would make an assault dropship able to actually assault effectively. |
