If they give us the same old maps with new sparkly things in the distance, and call it a "new map" when it clearly isn't, then I am going to be pissed That's sort of what I'm thinking, since CCP LogicLoop confirmed the only new outposts they are currently building are the Gallente Research Lab, Caldari Production Facility, and Minmatar Cargo Hub. We already have pictures of the Research Lab which looks nothing like that, doesn't exactly look like a production facility but I could be wrong, and it is definitely not Minmatar. So yeah, either it is just a background or it is the Caldari Production Facility.
Though those are just new surface infrastructure, not maps. This is labeled as a new map, meaning it will be new terrain and new placement of sockets. |

I agree it looks more Amarr than anthing, but CCP LogicLoop confirmed a couple days ago that all Amarr outposts are still in the concept phase and they haven't begun building them yet, which means that this would have to be a non-playable area in the background.
Also I only see one eye on that Mini. |

That is a large SI (surface infrastructure), not a map.
Maps = Terrain and sockets for interchangeable small, medium, and large SI SI = The interchangeable pieces that fit in said sockets. |

Did you miss the word "item" that I used? Let me look up at what I said, Yep there it is, "This is the only real new Map item we are getting" Never said anything about new Map. LOL, yes I did miss the word "item." I read it as, "This is the only real new Map we are getting"
Sorry, my bad. Though We are also getting the Caldari Production Facility in Uprising 1.7 and the Minmatar Cargo Hub in an undetermined update. Both have been confirmed to be in production. |

Draxus Prime wrote:thats a outpost BTW CCP Logicloop said we're getting 4 more When did he say 4? I read 3: Gallente Research Lab (linked above), Caldari Production Outpost, and Minmatar Cargo Hub. IWS made a giant CPM update post today as well that stated 3 outposts are being worked on. Where did you hear 4? |

Zekains right Although, I'm getting CraterLake vibes from this map *Crosses fingers* LogiBro said it was some sort of space highway thing on IRC. I'm sort of leaning to the thought that those structures aren't actually an SI but rather some locked structure that will always be there similar to that big tower by C on Manus Peak. |

Maybe it is in the red line, or maybe the building is in the center of the map =P Also keep in mind that 4 of these structures can be seen. The big one that is the focal point, a second one just behind the turret, a third one barely visible to the left of the turret, and a fourth one you can see in the distance when you look through the bottom of the first one. |
