Dust delivered one thing that was great. I made friends and enemies and I think 99% of the people that play this game who joined a corp made a lot of friends so dust delivered this with the exception of the PVE against drones this video highlights all that is good about dust deny it if you want to.
Dust failed to deliver this
I am tired of ppl asking for glitter. I don't want more guns or cars or even custom painted dropsuits. I want a reason to want to keep playing - in a persistent world where actions are supposed to have consequences, I want a setting where what I do makes some difference. This was the grand promise of Dust back in the E3 2011 trailer.
PC is dead. FW literally is meaningless to me. Killboards are a joke, basically it's a grind to keep up with the vets. And the game offers nothing else. What you set out to give us back in E3 2011 is all we want just have every single person on every single dev team watch the trailer you released in 2011 and have them ask themselves how can we deliver this with what we have now.
I am not talking about the graphics I am talking about: "Pay my price and I'll strike down the heavens." "I fought your war a thousand times." "And won them all, and I know this is the moment that will change everything." "On this day the blood I spill will bring down an empire and the world will burn before your very eyes." "They will remember us, and they will remember what happened here." "On this battlefield 1 shot can change the course of history and you're going to be the one that takes it."
I want to bring down empires I want the battles I fight to change the course of the history on New Eden. Think about how great it would have been if the skyfire battery was up and available for the battle for caldari prime and one of us would have got the chance to blow that titan out of the sky. Do you remember that we couldn't even pick the side we fought on thefore none of those battles meant anything to me because I couldn't chose one side over the other.
Specifically to the community stop whining about this is op and it needs a nerf and instead watch the 1st link I posted and be happy you met some good people friends and enemies alike. Then watch the second link and start hitting the forums with ideas on how to deliver the promise of dust cause I can live with bugs that will be eventually be fixed. However we were promised to be able to fight for something not the bs that is PC and FW right now.
PS: If you agree add on and like it. If you disagree this is the reason why the player count is falling and dust is failing because we the community QQ way to much and have the DEVS focusing to much time on balancing granted its needed but not nearly as much as making decisions count in some meaningful way in New Eden, some PVE, proper matchmaking and a decent tutorial for noobs |

I support this idea, an idea of giving the customer what is promised. Dust has a several year long roadmap and Sony QC to contend with. I would like to see skyfire batteries and PC in more areas such as more regions of Low Sec, regions of High Sec and regions of Null Sec having districts to conquer. CCP wants more players but have advertised their end game rather than their beginning game which seems to have so much less than their end game. This creates the perception that someone getting into the game for the first time is getting into a fully developed game which this clearly is not.
When it all comes down to what can be added and what cannot, more PC districts added is "one line of code" whereas a skyfire battery or an MCC to be purchased seems more like it would need a PLAYER MARKET that combines Eve and DUST together, with player manufactured assets rather than NPC manufacturing. Time to set up the markets. Time to seed blueprints. Time to actually do something noticeable, now that the game has been released in it's unfinished still very much Beta form. CCP we are trying to be understanding about this but when I have spent more on your game than all the other PS3 games I own put together, I expect to get what is advertised. I know you are trying hard to make everything work better but I believe it is time to focus on delivering what you promised, the ability to make a difference.
Why Low Sec Molden Heath PC does not help Eve Players Benefits from PC districts held are difficult to attain with Low Sec Pirates roaming the area. The POS related benefits will see more use if PC is extended to Null or High Sec.
Eve players cannot exchange isk between their counterparts in Dust. Cannot pay them for services rendered (as promised by the E3 2011 video). Cannot lend aid unless it is in the form of an orbital on a PC district in Molden Heath with seems to be 20+ Jumps from all the good market systems.
The Market is still NPC driven. When the market is deployed Eve players will be manufacturing gear for Dust players, this puts isk in their pockets, gives them a reason to give a damn about PC or even Faction battles and will make a difference in the Eve Universe, giving Eve pilots a reason to care about Dust in general, are we part of their world or not. "One Universe\One War" right? |

It's just we need to have some type of meaningful battles that have a lasting impact that planetary conquest and faction warfare do not provide |
