I support this idea, an idea of giving the customer what is promised. Dust has a several year long roadmap and Sony QC to contend with. I would like to see skyfire batteries and PC in more areas such as more regions of Low Sec, regions of High Sec and regions of Null Sec having districts to conquer. CCP wants more players but have advertised their end game rather than their beginning game which seems to have so much less than their end game. This creates the perception that someone getting into the game for the first time is getting into a fully developed game which this clearly is not.
When it all comes down to what can be added and what cannot, more PC districts added is "one line of code" whereas a skyfire battery or an MCC to be purchased seems more like it would need a PLAYER MARKET that combines Eve and DUST together, with player manufactured assets rather than NPC manufacturing. Time to set up the markets. Time to seed blueprints. Time to actually do something noticeable, now that the game has been released in it's unfinished still very much Beta form. CCP we are trying to be understanding about this but when I have spent more on your game than all the other PS3 games I own put together, I expect to get what is advertised. I know you are trying hard to make everything work better but I believe it is time to focus on delivering what you promised, the ability to make a difference.
Why Low Sec Molden Heath PC does not help Eve Players Benefits from PC districts held are difficult to attain with Low Sec Pirates roaming the area. The POS related benefits will see more use if PC is extended to Null or High Sec.
Eve players cannot exchange isk between their counterparts in Dust. Cannot pay them for services rendered (as promised by the E3 2011 video). Cannot lend aid unless it is in the form of an orbital on a PC district in Molden Heath with seems to be 20+ Jumps from all the good market systems.
The Market is still NPC driven. When the market is deployed Eve players will be manufacturing gear for Dust players, this puts isk in their pockets, gives them a reason to give a damn about PC or even Faction battles and will make a difference in the Eve Universe, giving Eve pilots a reason to care about Dust in general, are we part of their world or not.
