Why would you create super soldiers, train them so that they are the best of the best, teach them how to use the basic of each weapon and dropsuits, equip them with all the cybernetics and neural up links necessary to be effective combat soldiers, teach them to drive and operate the basic form of every vehicle and aircraft in existence, give them a clone body that costs a immense amount per clone, equip them in the most high tech armor and neural implants.
And then sent them out to mine rocks!?!?!
because you need immortal soldiers who can never die to mine your rocks for you?
You where not created to mine rocks, or craft items, or talk to NPC's or kill 100 whateverthefucks, You where created for the single purpose to make other people like you go face down in the mud and make sure whatever they did not want you to have you took.
Your whole existence is to make money off killing other people or keeping people from killing people by killing them first.
Miners are either under your boot or behind your back. Either way you make more money then them and if you don't you can go take it from them, if no one is dumb enough to try and stop you that is. |

Welcome to the MMO frontier bro.
Then why did you spend the past 20 years or however many of your life training to be a super soldier? It makes no sense.
And you know whats stronger then 10 men? a drilling machine.. and its the future, they don't need you swinging a pickaxe.... |

Mercs freelance their skills. This does not mean killing people for money, necessarily. It's just one such service provided... for a price.
Being unable to truly due is in itself quite the skill.
You would not use cloned solders for that you would use clone miners? and who this far in the future is gonna be using men to mine rocks? when you can send a machine to do it for you better. |

maybe if you mine in the 3rd world country today. not in 50 years from now and certainly not in a future where you have giant spaceships. |

(Really, 20 compared to infinite, you just can't) You know who doesn't need to pay out on a drilling machine or a pickaxe? This guy, I'm going to punch the ore out.
lol still makes about as much sense as that does. |

If the technology is so great, and machines are doing everything, why even have cloned soldiers? Apparently it's all machines. Mining would still be plenty dangerous because planets can be unpredictable, especially ones that aren't Temperate. You try mining on a Lava planet and tell me how safe that is.
and you would use a person for that why? a machine would still be a far better choice as guess what, it would never have to worry if it fell in lava? or the heat or beind tired or any of that. |

It's all about the ISK. If you lose just one of those mining rigs, you're going to be in the hole for a while. Better to pay some poor shmuck immortals who are down on their luck and in need of some ISK. Send them in and let them have it. I don't know about you, but if I'm immortal, I'm going to do whatever the **** I want. I'll still watch out for CONCORD though, cuz they're a bunch of bullies.
Dont our clones only have like a very short lifespan of about 48 hours or something? that would start to add up fast. |
