All I ask is you dump this so called crap beta project game you call dust and devote more resources back to EVE PLEASE. EVE is what got you here and is what will keep you in business unless that shady guy from EA starts to meddle with EVE. This game is going to be steamrolled once destiny comes out or if your player base discovers Planetside2 is 3x better.
You better not integrate the economies of these two games because if you do there will be literally thousand of EVE players that will scam the hell out of these dust pubbies.

Those games have been out, what are you talking about? The Last of Us is the best selling game of this year I think. Even beat out Bioshock Infinite and Infinite is on 3 platforms... TLOU= 95 on Metacritic too. Defiance, now, that game is terrible, the one thing they did get right is the shooting I hear. |

the point is a 'dedicated eve player' would probably get in a fight or two. looks like you've been in 200 fights your whole life. how dedicated could you be? moreover it's irrational for an eve player to not want the economies linked, it's more isk for everyone who wants it.

Trust me I would love to have them integrated more isk for me but you will see some backlash from some childrens parents when they realize their 14yr old son was just scammed out of mommy and daddies money they just threw down for some Aurum. That phone call/email from mommy and daddy would be priceless and Im sure that would make the rounds on the Evo forums. So you definition of a dedicated Eve player is someone who plays like you do okay well welcome to the sandbox maybe you should just stick with dust if you want others to play like you.

How about they drop the whole "sandbox" thing and make a game instead of what amounts to a second job and then increase their market share and player base.
Also, charge for DUST on the PC.
Then they can develop both games and hire enough people to keep them in development.

I'm not sure if your joking FP. Do you know how many FPS games has had their severs cut, and still pop up in the next console. even on the same console. (tho for ps3, socom and mag are gone)
Again, I'm not sure how familiar your with FPS games, but Socom has a 80% to show up on ps4. (H-hour) and the rally to bring back mag from devs and fans bumped MAG up a swell to show up on PS4. |

because we dont want any freaking wow players in eve and 90% of the player base in eve would leave if you turned it into a themepark MMO fyi (I know I would leave). If EVE feels like a 2nd job then you are playing it wrong. As for your idea of charging for Dust that is a good idea but ask yourself would you pay to play Dust? Didnt think so lol they are going to microtransaction you dust players to death you will see especially with the addition of this sean douche from EA. Go check out the Simcity forums and you will see this guys resume. |

And then CCP does the same thing they did at the beginning of EVE, using NPC sell orders to force players to sell below them to make a profit in order to ensure they get the balance right before taking them out, and all the people like you try and get people to jump on your rage boat at not being able to scam the Dust players, and no one will care.

Also, Planetside 2 is terrible. SOE's gonna have a real mess on their hands when all those smartasses going on about how much better it is actually play it and then start shitting up the Planetside 2 forums instead. |

This Eve online is the best video game ever made. I was playing Mag and at that time i was on Valor playing with KEQ. This guy kept telling me i have to play Eve.
So i caved played the free trail became a minor. Got ganked twice, but not my first 30 days. They unwritten not to mess with noobs for the first 30 days.
Anyways i log in one day the player market is shut down money is not being made. I fly to Jita these mofo shut down the trading hub(the players). CCP tries to send in their version of space police they get destroyed.
This went on for a whole week until CCP threw out the white flag and signed a peace agreement with CMS. No joke watched it on TV my mouth dropped.
That's when i was sold on Eve **** is real lmao. Never saw that im life players rule Eve period. These people flyout to iceland for fanfest WTF!?
You tell me what video game on console or PC have that type of meta gaming? |

1. Planetside 2 isn't better than this game in my opinion. PS2 pretty much requires that you get everything at the cash shop. If you don't, you get stomped and it takes forever to grind up to better weapons. In DUST, the cash shop really doesn't provide you a big opportunity without a big risk (lose real money if that equipment you splurged on gets killed when your clone dies). PS2 is pay to win. I've played both games, BTW.
2. Is EVE that short of resources that it will die? EVE has no competition, as far as I know. It's too harsh for most people.
3. Scams? We are big boys. We know that scams, betrayal and rip-offs are the stuff of legend in EVE. We will learn and take our lumps.

From an Eve player that has played for 5 years, I say you don't speak for all of us, and if you were really interested in Eve you would probably hope CCP succeeds in this endeavor. Also, the fact that you think this takes away from Eve (the people making this game were never developers on Eve), says you don't know much about how CCP operates and leads me to believe you aren't as "dedicated" as you pretend to be.

your arguments are wrong considering dust is entirely funded by profits from eve, sponsors and in game purchases. there has been no resources diverted anywhere. dust has its own devs entirely separate from eve and also its very own development funds
eve is making huge profits for ccp which is why they were able to simultaneously fund the development of 2 new games. if they both flopped or never came out of development then eve has lost nothing and ccp has only lost some profits.

Planetside 2 is a joke, their **** attempts at making a persistant world is failed and everyone will forget about it within two years time. Destiny will be okay but it will lose it's players after everyone finds a new game. Dust on the other hand has constant updates that keeps the game refreshing, as opposed to getting just bug fixes before the publishers decide to plan a sequel. |
