So the blast radius nerf seems ok by me. But then the nerf hammer begins to cast its doom with both direct and splash damage reduction. I think it was too much lol.
You are getting more shots , up to 8. So its a nerf for skill-less players, and a buff for skilled players.
Im sure REALLY skilled players will keep using their core flaylocks, at least as a SIDE ARM.
But then again, knowing how tryhard this community is the flaylock will probably be extinct. SMG's , you are next... |

I've never tried the core flaylock, so I don't know how easy it would have been for me to get kills with it, but the advanced does pack a punch, however it requires decent aim to accomplish this goal due to the 1.5m splash radius.
Bro, people running around with Cal Logi and their ONLY weapon being a Core flaylock and go 33-4 in a game with a 3 shot sidearm. And i KNOW its not because how skilled they are LOL.
At proto level their splash damage is increased and , unlike Mass drivers that have a LOT less splash damage than a direct hit, these little buggers make the same splash damage as they do with a direct hit, making it for close quearters and craped spaces a god like weapon.
I use SMG as my main, and as a side arm a Standard Flaylock (because of the inexistent PG use), and EVEN at Standard level it does hit quite a punch (on directs hits that is, since thats the only way i sue them).
Since i use them for DIRECT HITS ONLY, i kind of like their ammo clip size being increased. I think its the way it should be and i will def be using it more.. |

Dont know if ''noobs' since you still need a good amount of SP to do a good loadout with FP...
But if you are running CAL LOGI + Core flaylock + contact g. = i automatically assume you are a try hard, and god have i've seen try hards in the last 3 weeks.... |
