So to any scrambler rifles user out there I got a couple of tips for you.
1: with the crd-9 your better off hip firing instead of aiming down sights to close and mid range targets. Because shooting long range may be a problem because of the crd's flash since its a full auto weapon. I suggest taking busrt shot for less flash and increased accrusey. 2: single shot scrambler rifles are mostly good at mid, and long ranges. At close range it takes little luck for you're shots to hit especially charged shots. 3: the charge shot will mostly take down the enemy's shild but leave a little bit of armour left. Especially with 3% light damage upgrades. 4: most charge shots can one hit kill but it happens mostly to scouts but this may decrese If the enemy has very strong shields and armor mods. 5: your at a grater risk of overheating you weapon if you spam shots then do a charged shot. 6: rpm may change depending how fast you press so everyone may rpm then you when using the scrmbler rifle.
Note: this data was tested with a g-1 scouts using all the scramblers in dust including Aur scrambler rifles. Also using 3, ,5, and 10 % damage mode for each and every rifle . Also with all scrambler rifle skills up to level 5. And share some of you're tips to us about scrambler rifles.

Yeah plus I had no side arm for the testing on my g-1. Also the crd-9 runs out of ammo pretty quick since its fast firing. So I always bring my proto nanohive.

Charge shot---> tripple shot --> dead,.
thats me , im dead,.. I run a heavy with two complex damage mods. This would be me. Even with just the advanced single shot rifle, the charge shot can instakill everyone except for caldari logistics and other heavies. (Caldari Logis end up with like 50 shield left and run for their lives :P) My favorite is when they peak their heads out above the wall and BOOM HEADSHOT. What annoys me the most is when I line up a perfect shot and the player moves slightly. This screws up everything because I now have to wait for my gun to cool down, and by that time they've already moved behind cover. Either that or I get impatient and hit the player a few times, overheat, and then get my kill stolen. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a player down to 10 armor only for some guy with a militia AR to appear out of nowhere and leave me with an assist. What rifle do you use most of the time

As and Amarrian Templar, who joined an Amarrian RP corp, and only uses Amarrian equipment, and actively engages in using Amarrian battle discipline.... 1. I False you can achieve at more than say 10m a better DPS on a target by using the sights. 2. Yes they are much better at longer ranges of up to 80m. Hip firing is the best chance you will have to kill you enemy. 3. While that's true you cannot volley fire immediately afterwards but you wont have to if you are accurate. 4. Yup charge Shots will take down a heavies shield, kill scouts, and de shield and hurt an Assault... however you give up serious range to do this. 5. That strategy seems unintuitive. Either you should Charged shot then fire or rapid fire volley. 6. Yup. 1. On 5 I tested this multiple times if you shoot more than 4 to 6 shots then do a charged shot after it will over heat especially with advanced ones

I did this with my commando: gave it a crd-9 and a proto shotgun with a nanohive doing this I have greater chance of killing enemy's at close range and using the crd-9 for enemy in the mid and long ranges. And since the crd-9 runs out of ammo pretty fast the proto nanohive will help me refill ammo. Also using a 10 % damage mod with the crd-9 makes quick work out of enemy's |
