Chill. They are working on it.
Find a logi HAV and create a squad. With transfers and reps the support vehicles will keep you alive longer and the extra weapons will add up close protection. |

I always squad up with a gunner and I find no problem staying alive. Tanks need support from infantry and infantry does well with a tank supporting them back. |

About the only thing a tank is good for is causing the other team to change their weapons, and leave themselves vulnerable to enemy infantry.
Tanks are just distractions. |

what ever I played a few rounds last night and the tanks owned the field some went 20/0 and I was running advanced swam launcher I would get close to killing them and they would just jump out and recall there tank if anything it should take longer to recall or a ship should have to pick it up not just magically disappear |

How many of the HAV drivers making these complaint threads are fitting good secondary guns and actually having people use them?
I know that may sound like a dumb question, but over and over again I keep seeing HAVs go down with only the driver in them, and both turrets unoccupied.
I mean, you do realize those smaller turrets are for killing infantry for you, right?
Oh, wait, that means the driver doesn't get all the kills, therefore making the vehicle useless.

CCP showed you that the average value of a tank was < the total destroyed isk the average tank kills? |

Silly me. well 1 proto av guy can kill me. why should i have to have 3 people in my tank to protect me from 1 guy wat a waste of ppl. plus when i die it cost my tank 500k more isk. talk about a waste. |

I can never get anywhere near a tank with 2 secondary gunners, but most HAV drivers complaining are the ones who fit them to have one badass blaster with damage mods and don't fit it to... you know tank. |

Before CCP makes massive changes like these, they consider how to counteract the fact that they are reducing 1.5 mil skill points spent on HAVs to 0. Basically you are now new to DUST 514 with 0 sp tankers, except you now have some skills unlike total noobs. |

alot of the QQ threads of the past have put people like me off of getting into other people tanks.
I don't want to jump into someones tank that doesnt want me there :P
I've even jumped around offering to jump into a tank.. and then had it rush away from me like I'm some sort of leper!!!
So i just call my own maddy in then recall it then run off to do my usual infantry thing... just so they know they coulda had someone on board watching their back :P
But....
vehicles still need some love.... their counter and balance (AV) is OP compared, and only because the vehicle trees are still incomplete.
I have some faith in the devs, and the processes and reasoning at work behind the scenes... but patience seems to be the most required attribute : /

Those people are rushing away from you because you're effectively a threat to their performance. Every kill you get is a potential kill of their's, thus robbing them of WP, SP, and ISK.
So we actually come to the biggest issue surrounding HAV balance: selfishness.
I mean, I guess I'm just weird, but I won't even move my HAV from the base where I dropped it until I have gunners, which is why I equip the best Small turrets possible on all my fits. That's how I played HAVs all the way up to now. |

I hope that they do a tank review for 1.3 as thy hinted. A price drop would be fine, but an armor buff would be great, or hell, a rep tool that worked better for longer, 30 seconds with 30 seconds to cool down is not great at all. |

lol what a joke.
Two infantry one the ground in proto suits with duvolles will always be 100x more effective at killing infantry than the sorry excuse for PG wasters that small turrets are.
The only thing having three people in a tank is good for is killing a trip-kill in the feed when you lul dai the tank in 2.5s. |
