Had an alt driving around in a Charybdis. Enemy Lav w/ gunner got on my six, I was dead in short order. I didn't even know I was being chased until I died and saw it was a small turret on a LAV that killed me.
Best way to kill an LLAV is to kill the LAV driver with a blaster turret, big or small.
Or my favorite, an air burst grenade over the open driver's seat.  |

The problem is LLAVs are garbage at what they do and too good an murder taxying.
- The EHP is fine with LLAVs, leave that alone.
- Lower Collision damage for all vehicles by a smidge.
- Add more mass for all vehicles for momentum purposed.
- Make the LLAV "heavier" then the normal LAVs.
- Make the infantry repper not such crap, needs a bit of a small buff for how fast you can lock new targets, shorter cycles.
- Make the LLAV significantly slower, comparable to an HAV maybe a smidge faster.
- Make the thing closed cab, nobody in their mind unless ina fatsuit will rep infantry due to other infantry shooting you OUT of the LAV due to no cover and you having to be near your infantry(and thus still) in order to rep them.
- Make it where you can... I dunno... Act like a REAL Logi and give it some inherent crappy temporary nanohive thingy?
You know what? Just remove the LLAV entirely, and make an MAV and give it the log role and make it an APC. |
