Yes, its a pout thread but its not like Void is only part of a handful of people that have hung up the sticks on DUST.
Many top tier players have burnt out on the grind and lack of anything new this year. More and more people are migrating away from this game every day. Dont believe me? Check out - http://eve-offline.net/?server=dust
When Uprising hit, there were 8-9k people playing this game every day. Then, about a month or so later it was down to around 6k per day. Now? We are at 4-5k max. Skirmish matches now dont fill up until you are actually in the match.
1.4 will be the deciding patch for this game. If it holds to true to the cycle, it will be out in late August to early September. It has to be a game-changer (new maps, filling out the suits, new vehicles) or people will give up. Why? Because that would mean that the next big content update would probably not be until 1.6 (considering 1.5 will probably be another balance/adjustment patch) which would not be out until late October/November. By that time, the top clans will just be waiting for the release titles for PS4.
Apathy reigns supreme in this game right now. I have 3.5mil unallocated SP because I refuse to invest in anything because it might be the next nerf target. Im one of the guys who are waiting for jets to hit and I probably wont invest in anything until they get here or I quit. I will be happy if they even announce when jets are coming in the next three months but I doubt that will even happen given CCPs superb communication skills.

To adapt one must look to other tactics to survive if your current tactics are getting you killed. Try working with infantry instead of just wanting to slaughter them. Again those Infantry units are keeping you alive, no good AV user with swarms is going to see an Infantry squad and chose to ignore it and solo instead of following behind that squad, because he knows he's nerfed against enemy Infantry.
No they arent, being on the front line with swarms is insane. If you are a good swarm user, you are a lone hunter. Using an LAV to get to points of the battlefield that give you the best view of your prey. All running with infantry will do is make sure that you are the first one that gets downed.
