Can I haz tank?
Real talk, it isn't being popped that angers me, it is that one pop. I can't make a profit at 200k-450k vs 800k-1.5m
I too question the placement of vehicles. I just doubt the present audience can really handle it. Look at things
Scouts too hard to hit, nerf scouts
Armor was nerfed before it let the drawing board
The common ground was AR. AR is king. It feels to a point that "shields and Ar? No? GTFO NOOB!" And it is honestly wearing thin trying to talk to anyone about. Some days, yes, I do play with randoms. Even join their squads. Ask for a rep? I insulted an humiliated. Who cars I got more WP, dare I wasn't FOTM
Void, never fought as a green dot, but I treasure the few times you were a blue. A few times out killing you, and another, recalling my gear, suicide, rep tool, then sitting inside your luxery vehicle and repping it.
Dont give up home on the game, be weedy of the player base

I play shield tank. Common sense or not, I know I'm gimped. So, I use logic to win my fights. At least keep moving at all times. My problem is that I can't and never be able to face armor head on, or side. At best, be part of an ambush on it. Mostly with iffy results.
But let's not forgo the LAI DAI AV with nano. He can, but my turret can't. |

CoD brought in a casual play to most FPS. Where anyone with a pulse can win and feel good about it. Which in its self, not bad. The problem with that is, it does punish the hardcore.
Who is right and wrong on this, is beyond this discussion. The problem is, the mentality and what it brings here. CCP ( last time I checked) wasn't a "casual" company.
Casual is a Borderlands. Fun for the weekend with a few friends and some beers.

Here its like, can you obey orders? why you leave your last corp? whats your isk income? how do you budget? What is the optimal max range arc for a mass driver?
I feel more of a
"2 trains, one leaves Dallas at 12 noon, while the other leaves at 3pm"
Also I budget my suits all on low. Use the good based on PC or the quality of the enemy. No need to go broke on "no bodies" |

People need a respec, the tankers should get a respec like everyone, and wait til CCP gets thier sh** together & balanced so you can spec into what you want once the games stable, and stats aren't changing left and right. Seriously. im speced into both shield and armor, both will be useless soon

I can see being in a squad with a tank. Tank leading the charge, being defensive and holding down the fort. Nah... we need more red line snipers. |
