Armor tanks depend on reps to live. because they do not naturally repair their armor. If armor tanks get hit hard enough they also take burn damage. With the current set up. If they fix the bug Armor reps will actually have trouble repairing through the burn damage. It will take a total of 4 whole runs to repair a fully damage tank that puts a tank out of battle for a whole 2 mins to rep up if it has been put down into low armor.
Also I will be able to rep back less damage then a forge puts out and a rail turret. This means after the reps get fixed things will become useless almost because it will not even allow you the ability to take a extra hit. it is better to go buffer run through kill some people get out of their and use a logi tool out of sight or recall your tank and bring in a new one.
Sorry no idea where fixing this bug makes anything more balanced.

Just because there's a bug in a game does not necessarily mean it's bad. nerfs or buffs that are based on bugs are the worst kind last time I checked. It's how we got the OP shotgun, Breach SMGs, Breach ARs last time and by not buffing or nerfing around a bug is what lead to the mass driver to its comfortable spot right now without the bug.
All of those were OP. The armor tank is currently balanced. Nerfing the armor reps will make them more UP than shield tanks. Shield tanks are UP. imbalance is bad. fixing this bug creates more imbalance than there is now. Can a tanker be any more clear??? |
