Losing your shiny toy because some people actually put in the time to skill into weapons that can harm you and worked together to focus fire on your cowardly ass and then hearing every single tanker under the sun make a thread about it and even organize to try and spam the boards with them so they take up the entire page is you being a whiny little **** |

Seriously if a solo AV guy kills you then you are just a horrible driver and I say this as a guy thats killed tanks solo
Sitting completely still trying to park on a spawn point with a blaster equipped tank is not good driving, its asking to get your **** wrecked
Cruising around alone near a bunch of infantry cover is not good driving, its asking to get your **** wrecked
Going solo in your tank at all without some infantry support is not good driving, its asking to get your **** wrecked
Actually a great deal of what I see tank drivers doing is not good driving and its asking AV players to bend them over and **** them in the ass
On the occasion you see an actual decent tank driver with some decent infantry support they rule almost the entire ******* battlefield

Proto tanks are not going to be god like tanks coming in able to handle proto AV any better really. They are just going to be able to do certain things better. A swarm of 6 missiles at a proto level with each missile doing 330 damage
Thats 1980 damage for a swarm before the damage reduction from them hitting your shields first

Enforcers are **** compared to standard tanks. Just to earn all that extra tank against AV you will be moving at a snails pace and unable to get away.
Wow you are just grasping at straws, saying enforcers prove your point that a potential defense specialization tank will suck is like saying you can kill a heavy with 3 bullets because you can do that to a scout

Yeah and 3k is still more than a proto swarm does to you in one volley, hell its less than two proto volleys if they all hit against shields
Learn how to do some basic ******* math before you start crying how you die so easily, if you got the numbers right and didnt make wildly inflated statements you might have some credibility and be worth arguing with |

Did you factor in the shields resist to explosives and the diminishing returns on the damage mods |

Son of a Gun I double checked your math
A proto swarm at 5 proficiency running two complex damage upgrades comes out to 2673 before adding any resistance bonuses or weaknesses
Adding in the 30% damage bonus to armor thats 3475 per swarm solely to armor but thats just ignoring the shield resistance bonus to get numbers we would prefer
Factor that in and you get 1871 damage per swarm and every tank has resistance amps and plates to further decrease those numbers
Now I know you felt like you struck a great blow but then here comes proper math and logic to show its not as bad you guys whine about |
