The opening days of PC were among the most deadly. Many top corps that currently resides on the leaderboards were stomped out. Many never returned. The first big recorded war was the Northern War. Quickgloves and Kane had disagreements and over this a war broke out. The Imperfects hit Sver Prime with a largest fleet on record. With Unclaimed backing the war effort ships were supplied and lost at alarming rates. On the 2nd day of the war the Imperfects secured land on Sver Prime, with this disgrace Sver troops attempted to remove the foreign invaders. On the 3rd day of the war it was clear that removing the Imps we're harder than expected, so Sver put on a defensive role hoping to break the Imp momentum. This failed and Imp tanks grind over the fallen. With Sver under a real threat a Scorch Earth Policy was enacted, leaving nothing but destruction. Then Unclaimed went to war and abandoned Sver to fight. With the airspace uncontested the Imp glass whole cities and entire continents. It was nothing less but genocide. Sver and Unclaimed sympathizers start evacuation of the civilians. The fleets stayed locked in fierce combat. A couple of days later the Imps break the front line on the last continent. The next day was the battle for the capital on the same day the Goon attack the evacuation sites. Sver won the fight against the Goon but in the enemy last efforts they set off a nuclear denotation over the sites killing millions. In a last ditch effort to turn the tide Sver launched the single most costly attack ever recoded against ROFL. It was called S-Day, almost 2.5 million Sver soldiers died on that assault, men that could've been used for the defense of the capital. Kush, a demoralized tank commander, general, and among the closet advisors to Svers CEO abandons his post and take many soldiers with him. This was named Kush's Rebellion. On June 5th is a day Executive Order 296 went into effect. "Hereby all Svers, you are to disengage all combat operations on Sver Prime effective immediately. We're giving up our home!" Sver falls back to Sharkon then the Sakulda peace accords was signed. 3 days later Imp break the tredy and with Sver almost wiped out Teamplayers come and finish the battle. Most of the fight ends after that but the war wouldn't end till weeks later.
Next in the Eastern War. III Omens entered into war with EoN. For this Ill Omens is abandoned by LOI and forced to fight EoN empire alone on "Heaven Gate". EoN mobilized and invasion fleet and hit the planet on all lands in the north winning a few battles. With all victories damaging the productions faculties stationed in the north. Though no EoN forces have secured sectors in the North it is assumed that if the productions faculties fall the forces stationed on few FOB in the north land will be cut off from the rest of Outer.Heaven. On the fourth day and of the war Outer.Heaven dug in in the defense of homeland. With the fighting heaviest in the northern ice lands. After their banishment from the alliance the men of OH have been forced to fend for themselves nonetheless the 4th day of the defensive war ended in a statement and with Ill Omen backing away from the eastern front. With Outer.Heaven defensive campaign working they attempt an invasion on Teamplayers and Ill Omen though they backed away from the ongoing conflict hoping for a speedy end of the war. With 3rd Crusade the backbone of the ground operations for the invasion supported by whatever the OH could muster as an airforce since League of Infamy refused to send the fleets they promised. On the first hours of the invasion mostly against Teamplayers it became apparent that without adequate supplies and close air support the 3rd Crusade would soon be driven back into space. Within half a day the 3rd Crusade was all but wiped out and the EoN pushed back setting fires in the northern ice lands of Osvetur; they attacked the Production Facilities almost severing reinforcement from the north. With Production Facilities endanger of falling Radar issued the 1st and 20th Armor Units to reinforce the sieged lands and AA cannons to blast the EoN ships that rest in orbit. By the end of the 5th day communications with the 20th was lost and the 1st have retreated to a nearby FOB. The EoN forces have taken all production facilities north of the Rhine Heart taken, now Outer.Heaven is committed to stamping the EoN forces from the land. This is the last day of the war. With the abandonment of the League of Infamy like Sver many of the soldiers that were in Outer.Heaven abandoned their post and left the loyalist to fend for themselves. With the Outer.Heaven underman EoN has committed an all out assault of the planet. With the war already lost Radar signed a truce with EoN stating that they will give up Osvertur with no more bloodshed if EoN allows them enough time to find a new home.

A couple of pieces of history that have been overlooked:
Before the Imps waded into war against STB, ROFL was attacked by Unclaimed. when STB decided to leapfrog ZionTCD and attack one of our constituents. We retaliated as a whole and ground ZionTCD and STB down with constant battles multiple times a day. Eventually Zion broke and by that time NF had decided to sandwich STB against our Northward push. That's where your first sentences pick up.
We were at war with LOI, specifically Hellstorm, for a month and a half and we likewise tried to sap their will to fight by locking their districts with 9 plus battles a day for 2 weeks. The problem was our victories (and yes, we had them) were relatively few. Their wins allowed them to stick together despite the reported personality incompatibilities. You can see the evidence of this as EON managed a similar number of attacks with a high win percentage and fractured the corp within days. |

Got some corp names wrong in the EoN bit, especially the part about Ill Omens in begin lol.
No mention of EoN vs Cronos/Orion/Rust 514 starting the very first day of PC?
Also don't get why people make such a big deal out of the IMP / STB thing... just corp on corp and it lasted a weekend.. but i guess you were there. |

If you wanna make history stop hiding behind your timers. Nobodies fault but your own. ONLY time in Molden Heath Cronos did anything of relevance was attacking empty districts with 0 clones on them. FACT. You haven't fought Teamplayers in true competition, not ONCE on your own accord. We have had to wake up early in the morning half asleep no breakfast in our mouths and decimate you guys in your own PEAK time. You CLAIM we hide behind our timers but all our timers are very attackable it's 10pm your time. You lie it's too late but you guys stay up and you know it. Our timers are NO inconvenience to you AT ALL.
Make no mistake about it. Why would a coward make a appearance in such a epic story... I am not trying to offend you guys at all I am merely speaking the truth with brutal honesty. If you wanna be in the story do something worth mentioning... Continue hiding behind your timers and losing to us while we still have drool hanging out our mouths from waking up with 25% of our eye vision and awareness while you guys are wide awake in PEAK time. |

Well my point is that if your going to talk about a 1 off weekend war like the STB smashing was then you could atleast talk about how others took care of corps in a week(end). Anyways i guess its cause you were apart of that beating so you know more about it.

Also don't get why people make such a big deal out of the IMP / STB thing... just corp on corp and it lasted a weekend.. but i guess you were there. I heard of Rust 514 once. Orion did they die? And Cronos don't tell me jacksh't Well my point is that if your going to talk about a 1 off weekend war like the STB smashing was then you could atleast talk about how others took care of corps in a week(end). Anyways i guess its cause you were apart of that beating so you know more about it. Also lol at the timers arguement, that never gets old well if we are going to start hitting facts. The fight with the IMP and STB lasted for about 2 and a half weeks. This wack Great War
you just had lasted maybe 5 or 6 days. It is a fact that Cronos timers in the reasons no body wants fu'k with them. You greatly down
play it, like they are just timer and they don't mean much. Well normal ppl have work in the mornings and no logical human being
that works to pay bills will continually stay up and fight a war that means nothing to them and has no significance in the game.
Then wake up in the morning and go to work and get attacked while at work and lose the war anyway. Timers are the single most important thing in PC, but you so bold that timers don't mean sh't. So why don't you attack Cronos, 9 plus battles each morning then in a few days come hit us up and tell me that timer argument in invalid. |

I agree with GA. SI the only reason they are even relevant is because their timers are far too cowardly. It would be like going and fighting militia. They can't cause harm to anybody. We will just continue to chip them out weekend by weekend. Than when it's all set and done they will just gloat how they didn't care about PC anyway and they were never competition for us in the first place. |

People stopped caring about them. That's why they're still there. Plus the fact that the cop out of PC is "PC SUCKS! WE DIDN'T WANT TO PLAY IT ANYWAY! QQ! YOU GUYS ARE A DONUT! WE DIDN'T WANT OUR DISTRICTS ANYWAY! QQ"
"Pulling out" of PC seems to be the way corps do it, instead of getting their asses handed to them and get wiped out, they say "we're pulling out of PC"...
it's w/e at this point. EoN has nothing to prove to anyone anymore. We didn't land grab and claimed to be the best. Every bit of land we have we fought for. Not press X on districts with a 5 minute headstart and Farm from day 1 of PC

You still are beating around the bush, typical coward. You are more than able to attack people in their US timers but you can't set timers on your districts to fight us. You guys are still up and on able to play Dust514. You simply hide using your timezone as a huge advantage. Like I said (stealing this from Cubs) We can beat you cowardly bums even when we are half asleep. You guys all spam Flaylocks and contact grenades and you still lose to us when we are half asleep. We even just got done kicking your ass 15v16 all game. Dark Cloud rage quit out of both of the matches lol! Thanks for the district coward. |

This whole timer argument ran its course a month ago... does cronos hide behind timers? YES. To an extent...
1200-1400 for 90% of your timers? That's what anywhere from noon-6pm your time. Sure, perhaps that actually IS your prime time as you all work nights (I seriously doubt that but who am i to know otherwise)
Yes our timers are too late for you, the ones you attack however, the handful of american timers that are a little earlier, say 2000-2200 you guys attack them regularly. You een hit timers on occassion at 2300 and 0000. Anything later I totally understand it purely being a timing issue.
Bottom line it is what it is. We've all gotten used to it, and when we have nothing going on we alarm clock it and attack you, ever so slowly dwindling your lands, but then wheels get greased in the backroom to divert our attention elsewhere
+1 SI on that front cause it has worked well for you and you continue to have majority control of molden heath.
SI shows up for battles (usually) and fails miserably when we coordinate a blue light special on alarm clocks at a designeated time.
This is just how things are and there really is no solution to it on a global game...
Well. 1 solution...
More active players from various ends of the globe that aren't all in bed with each other in each region. 1st part is mostly beyond our control cause its nigh impossible to get anyone new to try and like and dedicate themselves to this game at this time.
2nd part, well in the us we have had countless competitive matches over the past couple months, but people don't like to lose and tuck tail for vaious reasons rather than finding other ways to survive. Hard to point a finger there either cause it takes some thick skin to stick with this game in the condition its delivered to us all.
Wars come and go, and will continue to do so as long as there's bodies to fight them.
I fear for the latter |

A preamble should include that on D-Day NF had only managed to land 2 district on Hrober 8 in a field of EON held territory, however Delta Force attacked NF at the behest of CRONOS to keep us occupied in our own space. Over the course of 3 days we were in heavy combat with not only Delta Force but through the use of mercenary forces found ourselves fighting CRONOS and Orion Empire over the Delta Force controlled Hrober V and our territories on Hrober VIII.
After the 3 battles and severe and heavy losses CRONOS ceased providing assistance to their puppets and Delta Force was left to fend for themselves with the assistance of its allies from it alliance members in the Orion Empire. However by this point the enemy morale was so shaken they stopped defending their lands and left them empty as we secured Hrober V for ourselves.
Sources from within Opus Arcana revealed that this had not only caused a massive exodus from Delta Force but from within the Orion Empire itself for having provoked NF into war.

Soon after NF was contracted to remove EON from the Hrober system to make way for an outside group who had interests in the region. The initial contract included 9 attacks at an undisclosed figure with the option for future followup if desired by the outside group (it was desired by the way). However after 3 battles against the warriors of Syn we were contacted by its leader to seek armistice, not because of cowardice but because of economics. EON had suddenly found itself in a proxy war with NF but was mainly focused on CRONOS however due to the relative distance of CRONOS space waging the wars could have led to potential bankruptcy and complete evacuation of Molden Heath.
After protracted discussions a negotiated treaty was reached in which EON graciously transferred its territories in the Hrober System over to NF for them to secure and transfer to said outside parties. In exchange a coalition was formed to take on CRONOS in their space. A strategy was devised and a contract was secured by NF to take out SVER prime (aka Regnums Shitter) which contrary to popular belief was not a personal attack on NF's part (though an added bonus) but a key strategic point that would allow NF to stage district clone attack on CRONOS space from the North while EON and Hellstorm pushed from the South first by attacking Bosena and then meeting up with NF to systematically take apart Ostelvur.
During the SVER fight however CRONOS began to show signs of battle fatigue and having also sustained losses in Aedald by EON seemed to completely give up the fight.
The rest is pretty much well documented and needs no further backstory. CRONOS basically abandoned PC, the Nerds who Loves Boobs Coalition had no reason to exist. NF by this time having fought many battles alongside their comrades in Nayain San grew bored and decided to abandon all territories at firesale prices and eventually outright abandoning them all together as it NEVER had interest in being a landowner.
I would write more about the specific battles of Nayain San but they deserve a thread for themselves because they fought more battles then I could personally account for not only against CRONOS but ROFL as well. There story is one of greatness for a team so small did so much under the radar and under continued and sustained bombardment for 6 weeks.
Edit- The Imperfect Free Press also began writing articles on the Rules of Engagement and with the support of its friends at the EON World Report and other Press agencies began to put Pressure on the Council of Contested Planets (CCP) to create new rules of war that would allow for more ruthless fighting and the cessation of Colonial Era Military Combat. |

1) Gets told we're hiding behind timers. 2) Gets told we should be fine between noon and 6pm, unless we work nights (what?) 3) Gets told we shouldn't have a problem with 1200-1400 people, most of which don't play this awful game AND/OR are EU.
1) We can't play when we're trying to sleep, not everyone is a nolifer here, I'm sorry. Personally, I outright refuse to play at past 2am, it's ridiculous. 2) Most people work (You know, we try and do that here) and I don't know about everyone else but most jobs in the UK are 9am til 5pm, so Noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm we'd be in work, 5-6pm we'd be traveling, getting home and seeing our families, getting some food and then maybe turning DUST on. 3) Kind of covered it.

A strategy was devised and a contract was secured by NF to take out SVER prime (aka Regnums Shitter) which contrary to popular belief was not a personal attack on NF's part (though an added bonus) but a key strategic point that would allow NF to stage district clone attacks on CRONOS space from the North while EON and Hellstorm pushed from the South first by attacking Bosena and then meeting up with NF to systematically take apart Ostelvur. Who's Delta Force...... Gone

Missed the part where IMPS in their assistance of Nayain San were fighting the better parts of ROFL and CRONOS, i forget to mention IO and 1 other EON corp i forget the name. By assitance i mean it was an odd time for them so we made up the bulk of the team.
Also i dont know about you but im pretty sure most would say Syn is a corp worth fighting, perhaps you disagree. Totally missed that part about having EON on the verge of bankruptcy and leaving MH altogether if we continued on with attacks, not Synergy, EON. Not saying it would have been easy and ill even leave room for the possibility it was all metagame on EONs part to get us to help them with CRONOS or walk, leaving us to do it ourselves. Point was in the early days with little money coming in from districts and the distance from Audesar to Bosena and Ostelvur, ISK clones were mandatory that meant 160-240M for every district EON wanted to take from CRONOS in addition to fighting losing battles to NF for which we were getting paid a kings fortune to do, our attacks were never personal on EON it was always business.
Like i said those were damn good battles so this isnt me talking smack, just giving background on the early days of MH since NF has a policy on not discussing diplomatic communications or generally talking about matches unless called out first. But since this game is dead thought I'd shed some light on some of the things we were doing that we purposely kept quiet on for God's Architect to have fun with his role play. |

Not sure what you're smoking, but I want some.
NF attacked Synergy one time before we set up a truce. You never had us or our alliance on the verge of bankruptcy. NF beat up on the likes of STB and garbage corps in cronos and orion before eventually leaving around the same time the tac AR was nerfed, not to mention losing to TP on their way out of PC.

Not much in the mood to argue with someones selective memory especially if they werent fully read in to what was or wasnt said behind closed doors. Point of fact we had 3 fights against Syn and the decision to leave was made before the TAC nerf which had ZERO influence seeing as aside from Pdiggy and Almighty everyone else used Duvolle and SCR and sniper.
Use a bit of hindsight before you post, the TAC AR was essentially worthless in PC because even with it ROF the hit detection and framerate issues that plagued PC made them far less reliable then pubs hence the use of automatic weaponry. With regards to the money issue yea funds were getting stretched, do you even know how many clone packs you bought to fight CRONOS while they were locking up your districts, it was a princely sum.
Anyway didnt come to beat chests, gave some background on some stuff behind closed doors that public didnt know cause this is the stuff all the metagamers love to hear about, the backroom deals, the logistics, the battleplans. If you think it was the initial attacks on CRONOS were done haphazardly and at random then you are simply out of the loop, hell there were people wondering why the hell we were attacking EON in the first place with speculation that CRONOS somehow had bought us and we were going to squeeze EON with us fighting them and winning and CRONOS just spamming ISK at them and taking them on over attrition.
In hindsight our mutual thinking that CRONOS would have squeezed everyone out of PC if left unchecked drove us to break PC instead. We didnt want to risk us fighting each other while CRONOS farmed ISK, but the reality of the situation was it wasnt costing us anything to fight. Every fight we had we were paid to do so except PHI which was for fun. We lived our merc lifestyle and business was good. In the end we had a lot of money to gain by taking on EON and while some wanted to continue most didn't want to because we like EON and had fought them enough over closed to open and PC, it was time to hit a common enemy. Besides once CRONOS was gone we could have good fights and then fight EON right.
Yea too bad the novelty of PC wore thin as the mechanics changes came late and new games were coming out and old games were getting fun again. Remind me again how much longer you plan on staying in PC? We pulled the ripcord a while ago and we'll see you on the other side. |

We fought every corp in CRONOS fighting mostly WTF and a bit of SI, might want to ask WTF how many times they attacked Nyain San to find IMPS, not to mention IMPS were constantly ringing everywhere which if we didn't would have driven our players out faster, being able to hop and get a few PCs in without scheduling stuff kept us going longer then we probably would have otherwise.
