the DS still have a few collision issues but with weapons and RDVs specifically.
Although RDVs don't fly across the map but appear in a smaller area it still need a reduced damage in collision, it costs up to a mill for the average geared pilot (1.2 mill being highest, 800k being lowest for a top geared pilot) and we are only using STD vehicles, ADV modules etc, the only thing PRO are the turrets. although yes since turrets don`t increase in numbers from STD-PRO vehicles, modules do and modules are cheaper and the haul cost won`t raise to much (its being lower a 2nd time soon btw) its still to much cost to bear for an instant death. Also before anyone else says it I am aware that there are no more free vehicles and RDVs will be less frequent but that doesn`t change the fact that an instant death is to much.
FGs are fine considering they are a rail based heavy AV weapon and that they don`t push to much, swarms seem to push more then before, it has actually caught me off guard the 1st few times that I started noticing and it might be due to the tons of "buff swarm speed" threads, I would like to say my statement in those and critique myself.
"I do think swarmers need a speed buff because DS / ADS can escape to quickly, this is more for future reasons because LAAs, ADV-PRO DSes will most likely have increase in speed with improvement of tech, Minimatar will be fast and DS will have an increase of HP and will be able to get through the faster swarms as long as they know whens the time to go, on the other hand the collision "push on impact" needs to be reduced as the speed is buffed or DS will be flung around, also in return pilots need the ability to dodge swarms (this wouldn't be to simple but something that can be done). this is possible by reducing swarm turn speed"
ok 1st issue, swarm turn speed reduce for dodge reasons, dumb idea on my behalf, LAVs would dodge way to easily simply by driving and the swarms will hit every object there is, hard to say turn reaction is a better way to go because it can still raise the same issues. Also idk if ADV-PRO will give speed increase there certainly hasn`t been a hint to it. none the less to the topic the swarm collision needs a nerf I fly every game and its to high.
flaylocks are the worst they spin me more then ANY other weapon, heck an RDV can ram me or a FG and swarms can hit me all at once and its no where close to how much a flaylocks push on collision / impact is and without a doubt needs a push / collision nerf.
plasma cannon aren't that bad actually, they do definitely got kick but its not as bad, just a VERY small nerf on the push is good (do note these nerfs don`t change the stats of a weapon, FGs travel faster then flaylocks yet they got more push, speed does have some effect but there is for sure something else that is doing this which seems to be more of an effect on push on impact then speed). |
