They are really good. Too good in fact.
Someone who uses a proto forge (Ishukone) with 2 thats right. 2 complex damage mods, armour tanks are hard to kill.
Not only do they only take 90% damage, but if there heavy repper is on, there no way in hell that tank is going down, I like the idea of a tank being godly, for a short period of time, thats what hardeners are for.
But to have an armour repper go insanely fast is quite unfair.
Not to mention in a shield tank scenario, vs an armour tank, Armour just annihilates a shield tank. I got a fair amount of SP into GunLogi's about 500,000, I'm still fairly new in the world of tanking, and don't get me wrong i'm still a heavy through and through, and 500,000 K isn't that much for a tanker, but i set it up smart, and i know some other shield tankers, with like 10 million skill points into GunLogis
Armour will always beat shields. The massive repper armour currently gets, well it is really good.
Now shields do recharge passively, which is why a buff to armour tanks base health or, more pulses in a rep cycle with a moderately fast cooldown.

I'm sorry that you feel the need to be rude about this i'm not rude but u the fact is the repper we will have now will be a light rep and be crap. and if u think it's unfair tht u couldn't absolutely destroy before now u will have it so easy tht it's not even funny. the point of having the better rep was because shield tankers had a passive rep and active one. do u see a passive armor rep. NO! U might as well just drive a coffin tht will die in 3-4 volleys of a swarm. IF tht. and ur suit cost less than 100k while my tank cost over a mil or 2 just to live from a proto swarm or 2. |

Ok, honest answer: One AV should NOT be able to kill a tank. As it is, EVERY AV kills a tank. We're effing tanks. We TAKE DAMAGE. That's our job. |

Without those reps, they will melt even faster than shield tanks. What we do need is a buff to boosters so that they can actually provide burst tanks, because shields either burst tank or passive tank.
Passive tanking also needs to be looked at, such as better shield rechargers and a recharge system based on time (like in EVE). |
