Id almost take an LAV fix over the Flaylock/Contact Nades... Just lost (and went negative KDR for first time in weeks) to the A-Team LAV squad of the year.
2x Blood Raider Sagas 1x Saga-II 1x Baloch
Scoreboard for the enemy team?

Total (for just those four): 88/8 - effectively half the clones.
Soooooo frustrating that LAVs can win matches by themselves. 150 Clones sure doesnt seem like much anymore. Really hoping the vehicle balancing in 1.4 comes early on like the PC matches.
So whats the worse you guys have seen? |

Id be more easily convinced if it still didn't take two AV grenades to put them down even with proto. Cheaper and less resource costly to go with lesser variants for the same results. Further more, an LAV at top speed can very easily outrun an AV nade's homing. I've actually seen an AV Nade do no damage to the LAV but somehow kill the gunner. |

Yep, them objectives are just going to hack themselves while one player uses his 'I win button' against all forms of infantry. Glad our current CPM can think constructively and look at all the angles.
Sure, forge gun is great whenever you drop a bunch of SP into a playstyle you dont want/like because all other forms of AV are gimped against LAVs.
Tanks are fun too, Im sort of waiting for one of the HAV guys to come in and say, "Yo, tanks are UP so this isnta legit defense" because, lets be real, what happens when the heavy in the LAV bails out and uses HIS forgegun/nades on your all powerful tank?
Already looked at two other angles you completely overlooked because you have this belief that LAVs are fine, currently, rather than listening to the community and what theyre expressing. Less SP than an Infantry specialization and you have a vehicle that can go to the supply depot in their base the second they take damage and - brace yourself - bail and use the HMG/Forgegun forwhatever they cant run over.
This is -one player- accomplishing every role in the game at once. Theres no rock, paper, scissors when the opponent is usually a combination of them all. High tank, remarkable speed, fast recovery, versatility and finally good killing ability. Find me one other specialization that provides this. |
