there or 9 racial heavies( basic,commando and sentinel) and 8 racial lights(basic, pilot, scout) which is a total of 17 suits that haven't been released so if a last respec isn't in order there is something wrong with this picture

I say why would I waste 2 million sp on another suit when it could have went to core skills and you people who say I should have waited or crazy I would have been a liabilty to my corp and any team I was on during any pub matches running around in militia gear
1st and foremost I want to achieve racial symmetry for my toon with core skills maxed and then maybe think about other weapons racial symmetry means when my minmatar heavy sentinel is maxed I will spec into the minmatar heavy commando and when the heavy commando is maxed i will spec into minmatar vehicles if there are no vehicles I will spec into the combat rifle if that isn't released i will max out the flaylock my hmg is already maxed. this is what I mean by racial symmetry for my toon which so far this game doesn't allow and you hard-line no respec dudes are basically telling me that somewhere around 4 million of my 9 million sp is wasted cause when minmatar heavy comes out I won't ever use Scumarr(Amarr) stuff anymore
if this isn't a justifiable reason for a respec than i don't know what is and before someone says well just change my sp to the minmatar stuff well what if the minmatar sentinel's has 4 high slots and one low slot cause right now the amar sentinel has 4 low slots and 1 high than i am going to want to change my 5 armor core skill to 5 shield control and take away my lvl 3 armor repair and 3 armor plates to 3 shield extension and 3 shield recharge there are so many things that change suit to suit that only a full respec will allow me to build the minmatar heavy suit to properly make it work on the battlefield so I give my corp the best possible chance where i am not a liability
Now if you read this entire post and don't think a respec is in order when the final 17 dropsuits are released than you are propably Amar slave trading scum who has most of your dropsuits available

No, I didn't need any respecs because I made my characters with care. I even played a character with no SP invested so I could use fighters when they come out and then respec ruins all my hard work. Respecs should never happen again.

I still have 3 mil of my refunded sp, I created a few decent fittings that survive just fine (while my spare sp is sitting there waiting for use later on).

I wasted my sp because I didn't want to get pub stomped over and over if you have ever been on the recieving end of a pub stomp you will know first hand what i am talking about This is an unfinished game because it is lacking all the basic content even for the vehicles so when all the basic content is released an optional respec should be granted end of story

Dude, there is always going to BE new gear added. As long as this game is alive there will be new stuff added. The way things are going people are going to be demanding a respec every single time we get something new, 'wow that new suit is way better than my current suit, I want THAT one but I don't want to grind for it. Ccp, give me a respec or I'm leaving this game and going back to modern duty call of battlefield 5'.

Now I'm not saying that respecs are good, I'm just saying that respecs should be paid for. Like a booster.

Just pay for a respec, and it takes a percentage of your total SP, and lets you reuse the rest. Simple enough eh?

Those who want a respec should have to pay for it. 20,000 aurum should do nicely, that way they won't be inclined to repeatedly respec and will be forced to think wisely if they are spending real money for said respec.

I'm against respecs dude, but if it keeps the forums peaceful and doesn't affect the ones who don't want a respec then I'm supportive of an optional respec that costs aurum. And like I said, 20,000 aur is a realistic price.

You should've done what most of us Heavies did during the last respec. We leveled up our armor and sheilds to lvl 5. Proto our weapon of choice, and skilled into adv. suits knowing that our final choice for heavy armor may not yet be decided. When the new suits drop, my lvl5 modules and proto hmg will keep me in the fight while i proto into my suit of choice.
