Isn't it 10,000 WP?
I have an alt on another PSN account that I let sit baking passive SP for a while, it had less than 100 kills and only 5,600 WP, although I see no academy options when joining a battle.
I've joined several ambush matches so far, and end up getting proto stomped each time by team stacked 6 man squads (so far not much different than my main account if I try to play solo, lol. Except now I lose much less ISK when I die). Is it because I have 4.6 million SP because I sat on it for so long? (have only spent 1.8 mill so far on skill upgrades).
I am pretty disappointed, I have heard wonderful things about the academy, you know... being really fun. I was hoping to experience it for a tiny while before it booted me back to proto paradise where 6 man squads roam freely  . |

If you have either 2mil SP or 10k WP you can no longer access Academy battles. |

10,000 wp or 2mill sp, i really think 10,000 wp is too little though i had less than ten games, but even the new people had close to 500. So whats that? 20 games before thrown in the deep end? I spose we never had anything like that but still, if its there to help new players they should be able to spend more time there. |
