It's been how long since uprising release and CCP has yet to fix the simplest thing

The only way to see the GERNADE indicator is if you're looking directly at it. The rest of the area is a dead zone.

You can not see nades thrown past you or beside you.

There is no indication how are away you are from the nade so most of the time when you think you're in the clear NOPE

This is the direct result of why there are so many nade kills because people can not see them!!

 Go ahead CCP test it

i prefer to keep it as is. Only a player who doesnt pay attention would die so easily. The grenade toss animation is obvious, and pay attention to the direction of their toss. Finally, pay attention to the timer, sometimes locus grenades can be confused with AV grenades. Simply move around it or wait. if it takes too long, its probably an av grenade.

Someone needs some SP in good game design awareness, considering how poor the shadows are in this game it is Impossible to know what direction grenades are thrown and where granades are on the ground

The sound is straight terrible so it's impossible to know if the nade is hitting the ground to the left or the right of you, or behind. The sound of the nade dropping comes through both speakers equally

No wonder CCP can't get this game off the ground, listening to you guys is crippling the game

Does an actual grenade show you exactly where it is? I'd be fine with no indicator at all.

I'm sorry but here are some problems I find with this statement.....
 1) What if you don't see them throw it?
 2) What timer?
3)That may be true, it may be an AV, but I wouldn't want to be close to it anyway lol

I agree with this problem, one of my concerns has been that if you do not have a visual of the guy throwing the grenade you have no idea it is coming. Personally I would like something like what was used in MAG. The grenade indicator was just big enough to catch your attention and it gave a distance between you and the grenade. Obviously there will be times that somebody cooks the grenade and you cant avoid it, but I at least want to know what I get killed by without having to look at the kill feed.

Ok I'm assume people are having a hard time telling the difference between real life and a video game so let me break it down for you

Given this game is no where near "real life graphics" and humans are unable to use their senses most importantly directional hearing this argument is worthless. Next,

Every FPS I've played since COD2 and BF Vietnam up until now has had grenade indicator that showed, if a grenade landed behind you, an indicator would appear at the bottom of the screen, to the left or right of you an indicator would appear to the left or right which gave you some time to react.

I'm not saying there should be indicators littering the field, I'm saying if a grenade lands directly left of my person it's should be easy for me to know about it, not a fcuking guessing game.

 1) good point. what if you don't see them throw it. But if you pay attention, you can also hear when the grenade hits the ground
 2) locus grenades have a timer unless cooked. Usually its about 3 seconds. thats enough time to wait out the explosion or go around it. flux you cant do anything about it either.

Like i said, i prefer to be rewarded by paying attention, then to get a freebie indicator.

 On the issue of 'grenades'.

Why is it, that a red is hacking your objective, random blue no1 sees blues no 2 and 3, with Shotguns, almost at red.

Sooo, blue pulls out a hand grenade and throws it at red (making sure its cooked with that nice whistling sound), alerting him to presence of enemies and completely failing to kill him.

Alternatively he might fire a few bursts of AR fire from long range at reds feet, once again alerting him to the fact that all is not well.

Why are people so fracking stupid.

If you don't see the grenade been thrown, then tough luck. **** happens. There is no need to hand hold as current generation games tend to do, by showing with big, obvious and frankly annoyning indicators that, "Hey maube you should move!"

If enemy get's chance to throw grenade to your position then even better for them and suck it up.

Okay quick lesson. We aren't talking about looking at someone and not paying attention to where the grenade goes.

 Have you ever played scout?

For one, explosions ruin your day faster than Proto AV vs. Dropships. Seriously, you can stand on the edge of the blast radius of a basic grenade, and you will still be reduced to around 45 armor.

That alone isn't really the problem though. I run through the compound at around 9-10 m/s, and quite frankly, I hate running next to friendlies, on my way to more cover, only to get blown to high hell by a grenade that I had not seen thrown, had no idea was there, and could not have expected. The amount of times I have heard that ominous "click" at full sprint is too dang high. And it's a hell of a way to waste a proto suit.

 TL;DR
I am not Omniscient. Since there is really no voice over, I cannot hear my teammates yelling "GRENADE" and I would love to know where these un-exploded bombs are BEFORE I run over them at full speed.

Grenades are ridiculous, I see more and more individuals that use them as their PRIMARY weapon. Their splash radius needs to be toned down.
