FOTM? You know, I'm seeing some new corps in EON, too. The difference is, LOI is welcoming in corps that are new to PC, offering them districts, helping them to learn the PC game, and generally growing Dust514 as a whole. I also see a lot of corps joining Eon who are already involved in PC and want to farm in safety. |

They're not ruining it for me. They are the ones complaining about having no one to fight. |

We were a small alliance and tried to build one to increase competition in Molden Heath. We started with 4 but one wasn't active and another merged into another corp. And we tried to get that corp but they joined LOI. We tried to get other corps but they joined one of the big alliances or never responded. Did Anon reach out to us as an alternative or did they look for a safety net? That's right...they joined LOI. So, when we made our decision to stop our crusade and join an alliance, we chose EoN because we have ties with Numbz. He has been reaching out to me long before the beta was out and at a time where RND had a whole bunch of hate. Not to mention, LOI was looking sick at the time with Hellstorm, OH, and PHI & IE joining. Plus, 187, WR, Molon all in LOI's ranks. So, please....don't try to act like you know what you're talking about. Cause Anon joined LOI before RND joined EoN.
I was not referring to you, but thanks for the life story. |

They are the ones complaining about having no one to fight. So we should break up our alliance and fight each other right? Like some other idiot was suggesting? A lot of corps joining EoN? Last corp we picked up I believe was OH and that was a week ago so not really 'a lot'. They also joined when we were supposed to be in a 'months' long war and such... guess we took to much caution.
Yea, OH was kicked out of LOI for many reasons, one of which was trying to start a war with TP before Kujo decided to do the same thing they did anyway, right before he left. What are the odds What The Flux ends up in EON? |

That alliance has gotten very large considering the corp count, who play PC.
You are right....but I have to ask you this. When you left SI, why would you join IE? Imperfects and NF had so much talent. You could have joined any other corp. And it's actually worse for players because there are many choices of corps for players. But there aren't that many choices for corps. Yet, players with talent still tried to pile up into NF and give them an even wider advantage. EoN's philosophy, as expressed by Numbz, has always been to recruit small corps but quality corps. Can't blame them if corps with the same ideals are attracted to that. So...sure, EoN corps can leave but when I see Imp and IE players leave their corps, then one can take your argument more seriously. Honestly with few exceptions the most talented corps are melting pots of former corps talent. I mean, I think RND, and synergy, and even si (not sure) are exceptions but you either have people like NF who tried to recruit talent from others based on their perceived and established success, or people like radar who amassed talent from friendship/disgruntled players of other corps, or people like TP's who come with a lot of exclusivity and only recruit talent, and then you have inbetweens. Honestly it'd be nice if the battle academy and npc corps fostered the creation of new friendships that would in turn create new corps, but it doesn't. There's rarely anyone willing to make a new corp with fresh talent cause of the struggles implicit. It's like Hollywood and new ip. The issue is that there isnt much talent coming from battle academy. TP is just beating everyone and that's probably why it seems like EoN needs to be nerfed. LOI should have just gathered their best 16 from all of their corps to face them. There are talented corps in EoN but TP appears to be how the Imps used to be. You can't put B teams against TP and expect to win. I'm sure if LOI created an Ateam out of all of their corps...there may have been a back and forth thing with them.
You really hit the nail on the head here. There isn't any new talent coming in, and there are still a good number of people in some of the smaller corps that want to get into PC who just can't field a full team of players with 12 million SP or more.

So, then who else were you referring to? RND, IXI, & OH were the last corps to join. You said u see a lot of corps are joining EoN...unless you were talking about OH by themselves.
I was referring to OH and another, but apparently I was wrong and it was just OH. |

Maybe 0TryHard or those other guys couldn't make those battles for RL reasons. Cause they're still active. There is also Taste, Doug, etc. Or, maybe someone should've just lit the fire under their asses to commit. Dia from Nyain San
There actually were several people in HS that had RL issues, new baby, illness in the family, that sort of thing. |

It's not really about EoN, it's about Dust. The game just isn't big enough to have a big competitive field yet, both due to player count as pointed out in this thread and due to the massive amount of time it requires to grind the sp necessary to compete. A lot of players are still getting there. |

I think he was referring to the fact that it is a problem for the game, but again it comes down to sp required to be considered for "a team" status and the fact that a lot of players are possibly months away from that. I myself am just shy of 10 million and I'm probably still a few million from where I need to be to run the equipment necessary (an Amarr logi's perspective). |
