Hi, Suggestion for Game:
How about a Skill-Out option? You could introduce a De-Skill option that takes 1/2 amount of time as earning skill points. Eg: Your skill into BLA skill costed 66k SP. You 'de-skill' it and it starts counting down from 66k SP to 0. It takes the same amount of time to de-skill as you earn 33k SP.
(CCP Developers: You could have AUR Boosters here, to help you de-skill faster - = win!)
This is a friends suggestion and I think its a great one. More market transactions, more players playing in-game to de-skill. Less harsh on newer players that make mistakes. Interest is kept by vets getting to re-skill into other things the game has to offer.
If they wanted to punish us - they may only give us back 4/5th of the SP we put into the skill? I'd be ok with losing some SP for my moronic choices that require me to Skill Out of an unwanted skill.
Option to Lock SP to a Skill so players can just play and unlock over time what they want.
Personally I find it very very tough not to spend SP. Once it's hitting 300-400k I get the 'what could I do here' itch.
I have allot of SP that I get too bored to grind a month out for Proto Level XYZ. I'd like the option to lock-in my SP so that there's no turning back. This would leave me to enjoy the current game and play with my current builds, without tweaking/adjusting them all the time (I've filled my dropsuit quota many times).
I feel this option would be very usefull and would help newer players to allocate SP efficiently by dedicating themselves to a role.
Thanks for the game and keep up the great work! |

or to unskill a certain skill you would have to select it and every time you go into a battle the sp you earn will be taken from that skill you want the sp back from but instead of 4-5k sp you get twice or three times as much back it also doesnt effect you weekly sp. |

I find entertaining any form of respec a dangerous idea. It may start with a system that has reasonable drawbacks but people will quickly call to have those removed. Respecs are not needed in a system with no SP cap, and no skills blocking you from the use of another. Better to never entertain the notion. |
