If I have ever been killed by a Caldari Logi its because I was low on health, out of ammo and out of Flux nades. ^This, all of it. Despite what the numbers on paper say, the CaLogi is kind of a POS. Everyone was just too stubborn to not use flux grenades. the thing about Flux grenades is, as long as logis have under 1200 shields, the grenade will always take out all of their shields. You could buff Cal logis by another 300 shield hp and say everything is fine because "flux grenades", but it's not, because while flux grenades would still be able to do their job, every other weapon in the game wouldn't be able to.
And everybody being forced to carry flux grenades or be killed by the suit is part of it being OP, it's over over centralizes the meta on the caldari logi.
You could bufff the cal logi, you could nerf the cal logi, either way, flux grenades would still do the same thing. |

As for why Logis should have the same if not more HP than an assault, because a dead logi can't do their job. Logistics are quite frankly terribly designed for their role as medics. I would have given them health somewhere in between assaults and heavies, speed somewhere in between assaults and scouts, a slightly lower slot count, and a side-arm instead of a light weapon. then you would have a true medic, but as it is, the only real difference between the two is side arm vs equipment.
Also, I realize that I just suggested switching their light weapon for a side-arm, despite being one of the first ones to call the idea stupid whenever it pops up, but that's only because it's such a huge nerf that it should only happen if the suit gets huge buffs in other areas that help it be a better medic. |
