Enemy snipers atop their MCCs appear to be safe from counterfire. This is despite their apparent ability to float several meters above it. |

Actually
the mcc's shield is extended past the actual ship so chances are he is firing and hitting the mcc's shield while they are firing with there weapon poking just outside of the shield ~

Snipers on to of an MCC are harder to hit because of the shields acting as cover, but they're not impossible to hit. I took one down with a headshot last night, I just had to aim for the very top of his head. |

Its all about geting the right angle, just take a shot if it misses, relocate and try again, I always get them, may take a coupe of mins to get my angle. |

Try aiming from in your redline. I always watch the enemy MCC for that guy who goes on top, and pop him as my first kill in matches. It's not difficult, just learn to aim. |
