Watched lowrates vid, and I agree with him. If they nerf a weapon, suit, module, etc, the player should get all the SP back from whatever it is CCP "adjusted".

Although seeing as how hard it was for them to apply the last repec, it seems highly unlikely they would have the manpower or will to be able to refund SP based on gear they have adjusted. If something as 'simple' as resetting a players SP to 100% unallocated is tough, there is not a chance in hell they can do it for more specific amounts of SP from a given weapon/suit/etc.


Would be amazing though if they could pull this kind of repec off, as a nerf wouldn't mean wasted WP and it would give us a chance to try something else (perhaps the variety this game needs after you have fully speced into something).

i don't know why ccp locked it as I wasn't bumping, but i'll update the list. But the good that came out of it is now we have a dev tag :)

i never once used cal logi and i want a respec. this game gets boring if you dont change it up once in a while. i used to play this game for like 5 hours day, just loved it, but now its just not as fun as it used to be. my sp is all over the place (mass drivers, ADS, Caldari basic frame ck.0, forge guns, hmgs, scrambler rifles, scouts, etc.) because i got bored of using the same scrambler rifle every match. the grind takes months to get just a one thing to proto, and people are bound to get bored using the same gear they are stuck with.

That's excatly the point, CCP wants the grind to be long and boring. They want the grind to push players into buying AUR gear. Which wouldn't overly be an issue if gameplay was stronger and featured more content, but as we all know that's not the case.

Too bad, too. While I, personally, think FULL respecs would be a bad idea at this time, I would be curious to see just how many people legitimately ARE in favor.

But, I would like a legitimate, ACCURATE number of PLAYERS, though, not some garbage petition whose numbers have been artificially inflated in a lame attempt to make it seem like there are more of you than there really are.

Maybe then we can make some progress on this issue, instead of going around and around in circles, repeating and rehashing the same old excuses and arguements over and over and over again.
