Sorry, plenty of people were Caldari and logis long before this, spent millions of SP and months of playing time, and nerf. Learn to program. If this game is going to keep showing itself as nothing more than a beta wrapped in a commercial release package then respecs are going to prove essential. Punishing players, especially casual players, because of an inability to perform math before making such decisions is bad form.
QQ more if you disagree. The biggest whiners seem to be the people supporting the nerf and opposed to optional respecs. Typical. As opposed to actually being good they pray for CCP to nerf everyone but them. Would be super funny if not so sad. Cry more, I suppose, right up until this game is a smoldering heap non-CoD kiddies will avoid like the plague. |

A sp respec of "balanced items"? Sure if it works like this..... CCP "balances" a piece of equipment, weapon, ds etc.. They should refund all the sp invested into this "balanced" piece of gear and then you can choose whether or not you want to skill back into it.
Simply saying "you should have known it was going to get nerfed" is a cop out, when I skilled into stuff I had no idea how it was going to be, how would you until you play with it?

Just enjoying what you have and if you really want a chance, just get them where it hurts, quit the game for a while instead of feeling frustrated. Well i wont be spending anymore money on this game. If its not a bpo it worthless end of story.
Or play it for free like my corp does. We don't play nearly as often, but we do play still, hoping it will eventually be a good game. It's not horrible right now, it's just not good, or any good it has is always at threat of being ruined by whiners and programmers. Wine and cheese, my friends, wine and cheese.
The sad thing is, everyone in my corp used to spend money on this game and would have spent money every month. Now we play other games and vacation in DUST for free. Fantastic job driving away paying customers. Another major nerf that screws over SP and any chance of us ever taking this game seriously enough to spend money on it is gone. Too many options plus the PS4 . . . yeah.
