2.5 million is just about how much I have made since the beginning of Uprising, which has been a little over 2 months. So not only is CCP stealing 2.5 million SP from me, but also 2+ months of playing the game grinding away every single week to reach the cap (I rarely use boosters).
Despite the mass rejoicing of our impending doom, nobody can claim this to be fair and reasonable (unless they're trolling of course
).
EDIT: was 2 months, not 6.
Exagerating much ?
"Nerfed to uselessness, even for real logis" Gtfo.
I did some math with fitting tools 3 weeks ago when i got the info from Remnant. And the Cal Logi very much remains the most powerfull logi in the mix. I'm amazed by how many people i see crying about their favorite OP toy. You should have thought twice before skilling into this suit and use it to a different purpose than what it's made for in the first place.
ESPECIALLY, when there's been a respec between now and the beginning of Uprising.
As for all those who cry "respec here, and respec there". Know that i will roadblock those demands as hard as i can. Why ? First because i'll enjoy collecting tears and second because those kind of adjustments are gonna be VERY frequent. And we cannot have a respec anytime someone has his precious thing tweaked.
But seriously, go cry us a river OP. So sad your suit cant go over 1K HP anymore.
So CPM as an unelected body now has the power to block actions because they dont like it? When did CPM usurp so much control and influence over the community at large? Thought there job was to roadmap the development based on our feedback and get the guidelines in place for CPM1.
The fact there are going to be frequent changes is precisely why there need to be respecs offered at the very least in the form of partial refunds of SP spent in the areas where changes are made mainly because you are asking players to spend SP during a volatilie development period with no certainty that what they are speccing into today will be the same thing they specced into a month from now. Now keep in mind CPM is getting advanced details of these changes and they are being held to NDA as evidenced by Hans' blog. Sorry but I dont trust CPM to be the only ones to give CCP feedback on upcoming changes they plan regarding BALANCING, i like CPM and dont discount they work hard but CPM is quickly becoming a filter to the community when they are getting details like pendiing changes like this to gear and being held to NDA on it. I dont blame you on this fact but there is a reason why we want detailed information ahead of the changes so we can give feedback BEFORE implementation often because we are able to accuarately predict what the results will be well ahead of use.
Also keep in mind CCP plans to change all the racial bonuses for the logis in the future to revolve around equipment efficacy at which point a refund will be necessary as these bonuses will likely have had a direct impact on the decisions made by players had it been available to them at the beginning. Moreover its absolutely prudent that CCP discuss with the COMMUNITY not CPM what those changes are going to be and to what level so they can give clear and precise feedback as to whether they are good or not. Failure to do so and to use CPM as the filter and the stop gap that gives feedback on gampeplay and gear balancing is simply unacceptable and one of the reasons many players were against a CPM to begin with.
Edit- TBF wont hang your comments on the whole of CPM, but i will hang CCP's use of CPM as a filter for creating the mentality that the CPMs opinions are of greater value then the communities at large, In some peoples minds anyway.
