Since the Calogi suit is going to be nerfed into uselessness, even for real logis, anybody who specd into proto just lost out on 2.5 million SP, as we are being forced to go into a different class to be of some use.
2.5 million is just about how much I have made since the beginning of Uprising, which has been a little over 6 months. So not only is CCP stealing 2.5 million SP from me, but also 6 months of playing the game grinding away every single week to reach the cap (I rarely use boosters).
 Despite the mass rejoicing of our impending doom, nobody can claim this to be fair and reasonable (unless they're trolling of course  ).

I started uprising with 10.2 or 10.3 million SP. I now have 12.8 million SP.
So unless I got severely ganked in SP, your maths is incorrect.
EDIT: Never-mind, uprising wasn't that long ago. Was looking at my total employment time since the last reset.  |

Ah good point, so without those events (which were almost a million SP a piece by themselves) it's at least a month or two extra. |

I wouldn't call it nerfed into uselessness. I took it against a squad of Team Players and didn't do terrible, considering I was on a team of blueberries. The catch is that I actually use it as a support suit. It isn't the same, for sure, but I don't think it's useless. The CPU nerf was unwarranted, but losing the 300 or so HP didnt make me awful...just less of a take-heavies-on-by-myself to a regular joe with average powers.
I did some math based on my current suit and my current skills.
If they implemented the change right now, the suit I have been using will be gimped as follows:
- Going from a total of 603 CPU down to 516 CPU (loss of 87 CPU) -- My current fit requires 589... so that's out the window.
- Shields going down from 670 to 546 (loss of 124 shields)
This is a pretty big hit, could be worse in the shield department (although it is the equivalent of anybody else losing two complex shield extenders on their suits, which makes it a big deal if you think about it like that). But the worst is the 87 CPU hit, I mean that is beyond overkill.

Explain the math on the CPU please. The difference is 20 CPU which with skills is 26.25. How are you getting 87?
Ok I'll break it down. After doing this on paper (and realized I had added some percentages wrong), it came out slightly differently and not as bad as originally thought.
Current ck.0 proto suit CPU with no skill adjustments: 390
My current ck.0 proto CPU with skill adjustments: 482
482/390 = 1.235 = 23.5% CPU bonus from my skills.
Now to take away 20 CPU and add the CPU skill bonus.
390 - 20 = 370 * 1.235 = 456.95 CPU
Difference between old and new
482 - 456.95 = 25.05
Now to slap these numbers on my suit with all it's modules/weapons/equipment.
5 complex shield extenders takes 270 CPU
Duvolle AR takes 85 CPU
Core locus takes 43 CPU
X-3 Quantum nanohive takes 38 CPU
R-9 uplink takes 48 CPU
Ishukone Gauged nanohive takes 44 CPU
Complex kinetic catalyzer takes 27 CPU
Total CPU so far = 555 out of 456.95
Now I add an enhanced CPU upgrade, boost CPU 25%
456.95 * 1.25 = 571.18
However my PG needs to be boosted by two enhanced modules, each takes 17 CPU away which = 34 less CPU
571.18 - 34 = 537.18 CPU
From old to new, I previously had 603 usable CPU with the above gear loadout
603 - 537.18 = 65.82 difference
Pre-nerf this suits loadout would have (has right now):
589/603 CPU
118/118 PG
Post-nerf this would be the CPU/PG usage
555/537 CPU
118/118 PG
So ok, after realizing I had used some funky style of math and corrected it, the loss of CPU is 65, not 87. And yes a lot of that does come from the enhanced PG modules, but those are what I am using now and I have 603 usable CPU, instead of post nerf only having 537.

Whoops, I messed up again. Darn all this maths! 
I took the 34 CPU penalty from the PG extenders off the total CPU, rather than adding it to the current usage.
So it would actually be 589/571
603 - 571 = a loss of roughly 32 CPU over what I have now. So not altogether that terrible. Still can't run my current setup though.
Also CCP took 20 CPU off the most basic calogi suit, so I wonder if it's going to be a straight 20 off all suits, or if it's going to be based on a percentage.  |

Yeah I am not maxed out on those, so I only have the ~23% CPU boost. Although TBO it should be more with what I do have upgraded, I have level 4 in electronics, and level 3 in core, which should add to ~1.25 or roughly 25% CPU boost, but going from 390 to 482 is not a 25% boost. *shrugs*
But electronics level 5 is ridiculously expensive, 777k SP 
At this point I am not sure if I should be saving for another suit or if I just go with what I have and get more core upgraded. So far the CPU penalty isn't anything I can't work out by swapping some modules or weapons, although the shield hit will be noticeable.

"Nerfed to uselessness, even for real logis" Gtfo. I did some math with fitting tools 3 weeks ago when i got the info from Remnant. And the Cal Logi very much remains the most powerfull logi in the mix. I'm amazed by how many people i see crying about their favorite OP toy. You should have thought twice before skilling into this suit and use it to a different purpose than what it's made for in the first place. ESPECIALLY, when there's been a respec between now and the beginning of Uprising. As for all those who cry "respec here, and respec there". Know that i will roadblock those demands as hard as i can. Why ? First because i'll enjoy collecting tears and second because those kind of adjustments are gonna be VERY frequent. And we cannot have a respec anytime someone has his precious thing tweaked. But seriously, go cry us a river OP. So sad your suit cant go over 1K HP anymore.

I may just be a lonely merc who's voice means little to nothing, but your attitude is WAY out of line for the position you hold.

Calogis were only OP to the players who did not know what a flux nade was. Seriously, WTF?
So much hate, it's insane! Calogis are becoming the scapegoat for terribad players not knowing how to play a game with more that satisfactory countermeasures to one type of play-style.
