And? you could have 200 shields and a flux would do the same thing and are therefore irrelevant to balance  |

But they did touch the CPU which did indeed help them lose a slot for either a pg or cpu upgrade. Its balanced now. We can all go home. |

Now you CAN'T be a logi in the suit. Not with the CPU nerf.
I'll probably run bottles and regulators without any equipment now and just call myself an assault guy. |

Cal Logi is about as "fixed" as the LAV spam lol. As in to say not at all. They are still the dominant force on the battlefield for killing.
meanwhile, my Scout suit will just continue to suck while they make these "sweeping" changes. The balls for cal logi's to cry about it.
I keep expecting CCP to fix gross imbalances at a quick rate, but at the current rate I may as well spec into imbalanced gear as I can skill it and use it for three months before it even gets mentioned, much less actually adjusted.
I'm usually not so negative but friggen frustrated after getting owned by cal logis using contacts and flaylocks while my Scout suit has to resort to RE spam to even get a kill. Came up against a whole group of em and they just owned all. Even after this so -called nerf. (Their so-called nerf would still be a buff for my Scout suit). |

This pretty much.
I was a shield tanked logi, actually playing the logi class with proto equipment and all that. Now they've essentially made it where I have to give up at least one piece of proto equipment to continue to fit even close to what I had before. No more biotics upgrades now for me either as I'll have to stack regulators to survive, which puts me even more CPU starved.
In the end... this probably hurt true cal logis more than the slayer logis.
Doesn't really matter much to me... I'll find a way around it on my PC fits. But for pubs, I'm feeling less and less inclined each day to help scrubs keep their starter suits alive. |

I'm stating facts. If you wanted the Cal Logi suit to be more logi, why on earth would you reduce the CPU it needs to fit proto equipment?
I will be less of a logi after the nerf. I don't think that was the intent. |

The CalLogi received a similar balancing that AmarLogi has. Though instead of PG starved, the Cal is CPU starved. Tbh, that's how it should be.
On my Amarr logi, I can equip all of my best equipment to do my job as a medic and then throw on downgraded modules to increase my survivability slightly. I can reach top of the board incredibly easily if I do my job correctly.
