As our callassaults reign down from the sky like evil shield tanked protos,

I find it hard to believe that a Logi who wasn't a Logi for the FOTM would even consider a suit that has only one equipment slot. Personally, I would feel naked.

I picked it long before it was the FOTM, I was always wanting to be a logi because I love proto nanohives and drop uplinks, and I still do, but if the Gallente logi is going to have such a blatantly better bonus than the Callogi for fitting equipment, that im going to be outclassed in terms of logi-ing, then why should I play as a logi? Id much rather actually be at the top class of my role, and the Caldari Assault lets me do that. I have no problems being an assault if CCP is going to hinder my logis ability to do its job with a CPU nerf as bad as 20 cpu. So I will no longer logi. I will be assault. And the tears of the QQ'ers will reign.

[/quote] Its stats were good from the start of course, but the FOTM started during the optional respec. I didn't know it was all OP from the forums, I simply got the respec and looked through all the suits did the math myself and thought the suit was right for me. Then all of a sudden everyone started hailing it as the end all-be all. Which was pathetic to me because like I said, the caldari assault has always melted the callogis. So if people are going to complain about slow hybrid tanking caldari logis that are easy as hell to kill( at least, for me because I actually use things like flux grenades and teamwork) then oh well, most of the vets that specced into it are going to spec into caldari assault suits, and show these crying noobs what a real assault suit does.

Agreed, It will take us that insane amount of sp to get to proto assault, which takes about a month and a half of capping with boosters on, and its a damn shame that CCP is nerfing a 2.6million SP path, with your dropsuit, and even everything your dropsuit is based around, but hey anything for the criers right?
