Why revive someone if the just die from the same guy again. In many cases you WANT to die so you can get more ammo. To many times I rambo'd just to di so I could get some more ammo and the guy who shot you still gets the kill. Flaylock users please do not post. |

I imagined a dislike button in my mind for you and clicked it.
And as for OP: sometimes, if someone dies in a relatively safe position, reviving them means they save money. Logibros generally carry nanohives and repair tools with them, as well, so if we revive you're back to full HP, full ammo, with no loss of money.

Me too.
Two clones to snipe again. If you do it right you can get three kills.
It's like threesome with two hot chicks.

Perhaps a bit more care could be taken by some... I won't begrudge a reasonable risk that didn't work out, though.
Can sympathise with the ammo problems. Worst incident was being out of Forge then going at it with a Scrambler 'til I died in a firefight with ammo all depleted, looking forward to spawning with fresh supplies...
...until I was picked up by a Logi. Cool, he'll probably have a hive and there's two other Logis with us, one Gallente, he's a sure bet. So, went about with the universal signal for 'giev hives', switching weapons back and forth and meleeing the air in front of them.
Long story short didn't get my hives from any of the 3 Logis. Was granted life but no ammo. Had to call in a LAV to get to our side's depot back at base before I could rejoin the fight.
Waving your weapon is the universal sign for 'no ammo', right? Or did I mix it up with the signal for 'fetch the straitjackets'? |

lol, it was partially a joke. I do carry a repair tool in pubs too, but usually idiot blueberries start sprinting away from me the moment I needle em.. so I don't even bother.
I would carry proto needle for all those armor tankers out there if the fitting requirements on proto equipment wasn't ridiculous. |

How about you start carrying nanohives for yourself, or running back to the supply depot?

My squad mates know that when I pick em up to 50% that they have big reps immediately afterword and ammo nearby (in most cases). I tell them before the match to let me know if they need to bleed out to change fits. In a pub and no comms? I just make judgment calls and try not to lose sleep over blueberries mad that they wanted to change suits and couldn't tell me about it. |

Or we could get all them logistics guys the only ones that have extra equipment slots as they increase in teir due to ccp taking equipment slots away(extra slots) from every other class carry them like they're supposed to. |

That's why you DONT revive someone before clearing the area first. In most fps it's just common sence but in Dust, players want those 50(60) sp so bad...Wen i die,i spam triangle in ambush, and in skirmish i spam x on the nearest spawnpoint |

Funny, people I revive usually stay alive, get repairs, and ammo because I have the mind to kill/scare the guy who killed him. If they got sniped in open ground, I'll at least have to courtesy to ask if they know how to power slide. |

I recognize shooting the ground by my feet as the sign for ammo. People melee me for strange reasons right out of the MCC when I know they have plenty of ammo. |

lol I remember when people complained about folks quick spawning. Now its "don't revive me". Hilarious!
Listen, I think judgement and communication should be used. If you don't want to be revived, just say so. Why are you waiting until someone revives you and then complain? Nonsense. Second, if you see enemies are numerous around the fallen friendly, why the heck are you reviving him anyway? Get on comms and let him know to hold on while yall work on clearing out some enemies.
And my post is not directed to the OP. I just had to lay down my two copper lincolns on the matter... |
