CCP givith, and the nerf hammer takith away.
In other news:
Have you heard of William Wallis? I heard he wears a Caldari logistics suit and kills noobs by the hundreds; and if he were here, he'd would consume CCP with flaylock rounds from his eyes and tactical AR bolts from his arse. |

Lower Caldari Logistics CPU by 20 (down to 175 from 195). Adjust Caldari Logistics and Assault bonuses as per below: Caldari Logistics: 5% bonus to shield regulators per level (used to be shield extenders). Caldari Assault: 2% bonus to shield extender efficacy per level (used to be hybrid weapon reload speed).

Called it, specifically for 1.3
^_^
"These changes are intended to alleviate some of the current issues with the Logistics suits, but theyGÇÖre still not getting us where we want to be with the suits. A technical issue is currently preventing us from authoring suit bonuses that alter equipment functionality. When this is solved weGÇÖll be giving Logistics suits the bonuses they need to make their role truly shine. Bonuses to the range and effectiveness of repair tools; to nanohive capacity and resupply rate and the like. These are the sorts of things that will make logistics players the invaluable squad support they ought to be."
I like this, this is the right direction.

Am i the only cal logi that is not exactly shocked to see that my current ADV suit will soon have about 10 less shield HP?
Do the 20 base CPU less even make a difference for the current cookiecutter dual buffer cal logi?
And lol at respec threads, I warned people left right and center not to go logi if they're not in it for the logi play style. |

That 20 cpu loss hurts if you are actually carrying a full kit of equipment |

Yeah cpu nerf does hurt my playstyle I was using cal logi to bring ammo and repair to hotspots on the field. That cpu nerf might make my suits unplayable. And I have no skillpoints for regulators... I think I just need to suck it up and wait for passive sp to rise so high that I can make a playable suit. And I have played like a support player... |

I can still rock 588 shields and they will start recharging in 1.85 or 2.96 seconds while rocking 2 complex regulators I can live with that. |

Unless they fix the shield recharge delay bug, any buff to regulators will mean insta shield recharge even during fire-fights! |

They won't make it unplayable, or will just force you to have to invest in fitting skills or downgrade your modules, just like every other suit.
I've said it for ages - logi are the only ones that can fit full proto AND gear. Literally the only ones. |

At least these bonuses are temporary until they can program in the proper logistics bonuses. 25% recharge module efficiency is still pretty beast in the meantime |

I for one welcome this; better than what the lolsidearmonly and lolreduceslotcount lynch mob was asking for.
Means I use an enhanced rather than basic CPU module. HP lost is honestly not that biggadeal and regulator bonus means the recharge delay nerf doesn't hit us nearly as hard as it could have.
I'm happy for the Cal Assault bonus buff. Step in the right direction... now fix the other racial assault bonuses FFS. |

The max should be 588 with max skills
That is if it is even possible to run all those shield extenders and a descent weapon/equipment now, after the CPU nerf (idk I don't run Cal suits).
Cal assault = 596.46 (max shield skill) + 120 (basic armor skill) = 716.46
Call logi = 588 + 90 =-á678
my Gal logi isn't looking so bad now.
Gal logi = 238 (basis shield skill - I run a comp energizer, comp extenders and a lot of high end equipment on this particular fit though) + 644.2 (max armor skill)=-á882.2
I didn't factor duel tanking with the Cal because, who the hell duel tanks a shield tanker? may be one basic plate you... You can factor that yourself.
That is a difference of-á204.2 eHP between the logis. + I get to use my Wiyrkomis and a Duvolle (would be interested to know what equipment/weapon can be fitted to the Cal after the nerf). -áHas order finally retuned to the realm?-á |
