I like that they are giving the Amarr assault it's sidearm at standard, it's 3rd equipment slot at advanced, and an extra low slot at prototype. But shouldn't this come with an increase to PG/CPU to handle the extra slots, at least more so than a mere 3 PG bump?
Sgt Kirk wrote:A base 3 bump means that your PG% increasing skills will increase that number exponentially. I did the math for each suit but then the thread got locked and lost my post. But you can do the math yourself, having Level 5 in Dropsuit Core Upgrades and Dropsuit Engineering only makes this a +4 PG increase from the old values with those skills. |

Sgt Buttscratch wrote:So 1 thing.... 1.3 is just 1 thing, at this rate, I might see real fixes by 2015, when I wont be playing dust....
Did they say this is the only thing that is changing in 1.3? It could be, but I doubt it. |

This is why so many people think it's a mistake to release this game on a console, because console players are not familiar with a development process like this. Just because the game is "released" doesn't mean it is finished, like most console games you see. Unlike those other games, CCP will constantly be changing and adding things to this to improve the game, just like they do in EVE. I guess you can say EVE is still in beta by that definition. |

PD: I want this to be a different message for not shallow my true thanks, but isn't 3 PG a little too ... well little. Especially when at proto level the difference between the other logistics is like 12 PG (don't take me on that one, I am not close to the console right now) but never the less thank you for these updates. Well, any more PG and the Amarr Logi would simply outclass Assault suits . Think about it True enough. Honestly now that they are changing the Amarr Logi to have the sidearm at all levels I already wish I chose that instead of Amarr Assault since I rarely even get close to overheating, I just don't want to bring up the "R" word and all the rage from both sides of that issue.
What really needs to happen now is change the Assault class into something more useful for assaults, even if they do nothing more than changing the assault bonus. Shield recharge rate doesn't help armor tankers at all. |

CCP Logibro wrote:Just a small update. It seems we were missing the new CPU and PG values for all the tiers of the Caldari and Amarr Logistics suits. The Dev Blog now has all the values, and I've posted them below
Bumped up Amarr Logistics PG: 3 at STD (up to 36 from 33), 4 at ADV (up to 50 from 46) and 6 at PRO (up to 72 from 66)
Lower Caldari Logistics CPU: 20 at STD (down to 175 from 195), 28 at ADV (down to 245 from 273) and 40 at PRO (down to 350 from 390) HAHAHA, oh wow. All the Cal logis who were finally coming to terms with the loss of 20 CPU now realizing that is only for standard and that prototype is losing 40.
This is going to be a fun week on the forums. |

Sana Rayya wrote:I have been pointing out the 40 CPU nerf at proto forever and just now people start paying attention to it. SMFH.
CCP Logibro, please explain to me the "balance" instituted by nerfing the CPU on the Cal Logi Standard and Advanced suits. As I have stated in multiple posts, this nerf will now require Cal Logis at Advanced level to have about 700k & 1 mil more SP in fitting skills compared to equivalently equipped/tanked Minmatar and Gallente logis, all to "fix" abuse at the Proto level.
Please, leave the Standard and Advanced Cal Logi's CPU alone. Well I'm not sure about the standard and advanced, but the prototype gets one more module slot than the other logis which can be used to as a CPU upgrade to negate the nerf. Perhaps the same is true for standard and advanced? I'd have to look at it because I'm not sure at the top of my head.
Anyways that means that the Cal Logi gets the flexibility to use a wide array of advanced mods or a normal amount of proto mods. |
