To simple. DUST is a complex game Seriously, you hint at a good solution to my request. But what i ask for is a small, quality of (short)life improving tweak. It's that much? This could be made as an option setting, like ADS or PTT.

Give an example, please I might have mistaken what you desire. If I'm correct you want the game to switch to sidearm when your primary weapon is out of ammo, right? In that case I believe it is rather simple to switch to your secondary with a tap of a button. In your game, it would switch to sidearm automaticly and after restocking your ammo you would have to switch to primary again to use it. So it comes down to this - people who prefer it this way have to press the button twice, therefore taking twice as much time. You only need to push the button once. In your perfect situation you wouldn't press the button at all.

Thanx for the reminder But when all my weapons run dry (but stay active in my hands) i would like the trigger button to automatically do melee.

Doing a melee while you're out of ammo is a good idea (maybe I misinterprented that in his first post) but automatically switching to another weapon is still stupid. Anyway, I think it's fine as it is, I just think it's the bad placement of the melee-button on the DS3 that makes it a little clumpsy to use. Switching ADS with Melee would be nice (this reminds me to look at the other control-setups).
