What type of ammunition will we get in the future? Flux rounds, lazer rounds, deep impact rounds. I got this idea from the description on the SR, reads that "it makes switching ammunition type easier".
I think this will allow you to further customize your character, along with scopes. The more variety, the more people will be unique in the battlefield. Hope this helps. |

Same ammo types as in eve I would think I don't remember most of them from the top o my head but minmatar use different types of projectile rounds like:
Fusion:more damage reduced range
Emp:reduced range extra shield damage
Carbonized lead (I think): more range
Ect Ect Ect
So I'm hoping for ammo types like that in dust to add customization of our weapons |

New Ammo sounds great. Would like to see it definitely. Scrambler rifle was unnecessary IMO.
Having ammo types is a great idea, we have them in the actual military, why not in EVE aswell.
Would like to see MassDriver Ammo types especially, would love to be able to just chunk flux rounds everywhere >:) although then I suppose the problem would be people would just work in groups, one flux, one explosive...ohwell. it should still exist despite advantages and disadvantages :/
I will continue waiting for prone positions in the mean time:P |

I was thinking of ammo types and weapon balance... Does anyone think that CCP is planning on adding different types of ammo for everything and are balancing weapons based off of their vision of the game with those different ammo types in play? Just a thought.
I would like to see smoke rounds for the mass drivers myself. Add that with some environmental effects like wind. And smoke grenades. Think of it, a sneaky scout armed with smoke grenades and a scanner flanks the enemy up wind, pops the smoke grenade causing a smoke screen then activates the scanner highlighting the enemy through the smoke.... |

we have them in EVE just not dust.
Each weapon type has its own ammo variations.
Hybrid- Antimatter=more damage less range, Lead= less damage more range
Projectile- EM ammo= more damage to shields less, Explosive ammo= more damage to armor less damage to shields
Missiles -Mojindor= more damage to shields, Nova= more damage to armor
Energy weapons- like hybrid are based around range vs damage
Then you have the teck2 ammo but I won't get into that. |

It would be cool if you could carry 2 types of ammo, 1 in your gun and 1 as a piece of equipment, then you select the other ammo from the weapon wheel, hit circle and then your guy puts the secondary ammo into the sniper.
That would be awesome!!! |

I wonder if they really give us different ammunition types and if yes how they will add it. Will we just get some ammunition type slot or will we have to pay for every single bullet like in Eve? |
