Anyone else finding their team just giving up? Just totally rolling over and letting the other team have the whole map? Running off to the edges of the map and hiding? This is leaving aside the ones hiding in the MCC, and those that simply vanish...
I'm... Mystified but this.

It is because they think that at one point, they realize that teamwork(if there is any) isn't yielding any results, so the best option so far is to just cut your losses and rely on your cheap free suits or sniping to at least make a profit. While it is sad seeing people give up, can't really blame them especially if the other side is very organized or running proto, or even both. Personally, I just keep fighting regardless of the cost. |

That's just it though. I cut my losses and go with the free kit, too. But they aren't fighting at all. I have been on a stupid amount of loosing teams today. Well today is yesterday now, but you know what I mean.
It's really Begining to get under my skin, but that's another issue.
Last game half the team dissappeared, and the rest were on the top of towers. And they stayed there.
There were like two players on the ground trying to ... Maybe not loose so bad, I guess. I was one of the two.
Even the guys in tanks were hiding behind buildings behind the red line.
It was rediculous. The other team was falling all over them selves to kill anything they could find. So it was four to one any where you went. Or worse.
But it wouldn't have been if the rest f the team were actually playing them game.
It think this belongs in the "general" forum, actually. May be one of the mods will move it. |

I know what you mean, line harvest is worst about this with the towers. I had one match were by the time our MCC was just getting into the armor we had 7 snipers on the towers (including a forger on either side to prevent dropships), 5 more guys in the MCC, 2 more in redline turrets, and me and my squad mate who were just too dumbstruck to do anything. |

Depends if you enjoy spending time concentrating on the screen to eventually get nothing and die in a quarter of a second at the other side (who actually team up), hose you at the same time.
A strong opposing team essentially lock down the field - if you are getting through and getting stuff done, then it's not a strong opposing team.
If you are getting killed, it's a lock down. Particularly if they bring in vehicles you need someone on a hill with a swarm launcher to start breaking open the lock down.
It just seems more fun to try and work out how to crack open locked down areas than walk into a meat grinder.
However, maybe you are talking about people who don't even try and drive back the enemy at all. |

Lately, I have been just cutting my losses if it is a complete and utter redline protostomp and fitting my free AV suit and just shooting Militia rockets at all the LAVs running my team over or calling in my own free LAV and just running people over. Hell, by this point half my team is AFK in the MCC already so its lucky i'm even participating at all. Though I do admit going AFK a couple of times. At some points there is just no reason to feed the enemy more kills anymore. |

I know you don't get anymore for trying hard. But if that's way they feel about it, why play? Why log in at all?
Is it seriously a case of " if I can't be on the winning team, then I'm not playing" ?
And I have grabbed a swarm launcher and gone LAV hunting plenty of times too.
I mean, what else can you do? So getting some payback for being run over is pretty much all you can do.
Until they catch on and stay out of sight.
You can't play this game alone. Or I can't anyway.
When people go off and hide they ruin the match for the ones who want to try and get something going. Even if winning is not possible.

Yep, until they fix the protostomp matchmaking system or change the gear this is what will usually happen.
