Please make it so:
1) swarms are no longer invisible randomly when I'm or anyone is being hit from a distance. 2) you can shoot them out of the sky as a counter given swarms have no counter currently. 3) a warning *your being locked onto* message would help.
This weapon has been overpowered with no counter for far to long now and can't be what you had intended I hope you take something from these points, its a good weapon but far to easy to use with no skillful counter against them making it extremely unbalanced. |

What do you mean by "counter"? Every infantry is a counter, even nova knife, since swarm launchers can't look on you. |

You can't prevent a swarm launcher hitting you, besides putting a gigantic structure between you and it but that isn't really enough to be honest as they bend around corners perfectly. |

I don't know what swarms you're using but my Wiyrkomi swarms never bend around corners and they constantly dive bomb into the ground near my targets. The best counter for swarms is to be a decent tanker, to stop murder taxiing or to just go on foot! |

I would just be happy if you could see the swarms moving towards you.
I've been messing around with tanks a little this morning. Swarms are quite difficult to even see. |

lol I'll have a look, remotes are very good as far as I can tell though. Apart from the one's that disappear into the twilight zone for no reason. |

The invisible swarms is a problem, I've been hit by them a lot. But as a tanker, I think swarms are better in this build then they were in the last one. I can almost live with 90 degree turns, way better then the 180 degree turns in chromosome. And I look forward to some type of counter measure to them besides waiting for my teams snipers to take them out. But I find proto forge guns and lai din, however you spell it, grenades to be my most seen killers. But swarms bring me real close.
Edit: Although I do feel proto swarms do a lot of damage to std HAV's, but I think that has more to do with the proto vs std problem.
Edit #2: Also a some type of lock on warning would be awesome. |

You should be able to shoot them, but I still don't understand the whole invisible swarms thing.
The last serious battle I was in, I lost a dropship and LAV to swarms- I could see them and who was firing them the whole time. Not that I could do anything about it. |

SLs aren't overpowered. I fear forge guns far more in a vehicle, and of course they are useless against anything else.
That said: 1. If there's a bug, it should be fixed. 2. The are the easiest AV to counter already. Drive behind an obstacle. Nothing further is needed. 3. I already hear them coming most of the time so this would be fine. |

I appreciate what your saying but people drive tanks and or drop-ships and the infantry around you is not a reliable / effective counter measure against this type of weapon.
My suggestions where very reasonable as I did not mention flares, auto lock on turret defense systems like you have on modern day battleships or anything else that would be unfair. |
