It was the 2nd time I checked the Leaderboard in my Merc Quarter in the entire time I've been on Dust 514. A lot of people have insanely high KDR and I felt small and humbled. Just how did they do it? Closed Beta? Tac AR? Or God forbid, cheating...? |

ive seen people with kdr's of 1000 kills - 1 death
but once you get into proto gear and squad up with all players in proto gear there is this thing called pub stomping where you fight other players who probable don't have proto gear |

Look at the actual kill and death counts. If they've never died, or died just once because they've only played one or two games, the ratio will be ridiculous because that's what happens when you divide by 0 or 1. |

I see now, thanks. Did CCP say anything about this? Will they fix it? I would like to see people having a fair chance at playing this game. |

Not cheating. That's a childish response to a situation you don't understand.
The correct answer is "competent sniping", which has nothing to do with cheating. |

high kdr's on the leaderboard is almost all sniping, if you look most of them have 1 or 0 deaths. It's fun to see how you can do i made a toon and got to 62-1 till a LAV ran me over  |

Alot of people K/D ratio has been dropping since Uprising, a combination of broken aim mechanics, KB/M nerf, and Murder Taxis. Most of that very high K/D ratios are from people that either; Don't play the game anymore, or they red-line sniping to keep their K/D ratio intact.
Right now a 1.0 / 1.5 ratio is actually pretty good.. considering how **** the game is right now. |

Divide by zero results in varying numerical approximations of infinity. Unless they have 10,000 kills/1M WP they are still newbie, look at actual kills and deaths and you will see. |
