Son-Of A-Gun 3dge of D4rkness SoulWing Alliance 215	Posted - 2013.07.17 05:58:00 - [1] - Quote I have never seen any discussion on this topic, but then I very VERY rarely use the shotgun, so I guess discussion on the topic could exist and I have just over looked it (and no, I don't feel like using the search right now so STFU). So it just makes me curious, will we eventually get race variant for the shogun? What would a laser based shotgun be like? Would the Minmatar shotgun look like a Mossberg (that would be epic). And while we're on the subject of little discussed topics, are we going to get race variant for SMGs for all the races? Hum, laser based SMG... 0.o

Double barrel, sawed off, over and under, with no ability to ADS. Instead, the ADS button would be replaced with a secondary fire button which would give you control of firing both barrels. The hip fire reticle would be the same, or perhaps two overlapping circles representing each barrel. Sorry, just musing over shotguns right now.

Breach shot gun :3 trust me you will not be disappointed No, it needs to be a sidearm and capable of firing both barrels at the same time. :P

It's not like long range shotgunning should be a thing. Well I don't think that any of them should be long range, but, for one thing, it would be nice to have kenetic and laser based variants. Plus it would be so epic if the Minmatar shotgun closely resembled a contempory shotgun, if there is anything that should survive into the future it is the contemporary shotgun. This needs to happen.

Plasma Cannon goes with the AV light weapons, even if it sucks as AV. There you have the Caldari Swarm Launcher and...I think we should get some kind dumb fire explosive for the Minmatar (RPG?) and for the Amarr idk maybe an AV-laser rifle. -XOXO Well we'll just have to agree to disagree (I think we need more shotguns) "laser AV" = sholder fired laser cannon This discussion makes me think about the Minmatar artillery turret. Does anybody remember, back in codex when they had the market tabs for artillery turrets (hope I am remembering that correctly)? Talk about your little discussed topics. It would be so amazing if you could slap one of these babies on the back of an LAV. Could you imagin how relivent LAVs would become (outside of the murder taxie fad that is going on now). I think it would change a lot about the way this game is played.

I mean, when the flaylock was announced as being a part of uprising wasn't there a lot of hoopla from the Devs that there was supposed to be a variant of the weapon that had infantry lockon capabilities? What ever happend to that? Sorry now I am musing over little discussed topics.
