Trade is on our roadmap though and I don't see anything blocking us from getting it done.

I wonder if the devs actually think people believe them when they make claims about how so very very very hard it is to code a trading system.
Seriously go to any minecraft modding site....you will find so many damn trading mods it will make your mind explode....and all that crap is made by people who have no access to the API and are not getting paid and are implementing it to a game that is 18 billion times more complex. |

Screw extra care, I say!

I sort of understand CCP's hesitation in releasing this feature. Full player trade has the potential to make huge changes to the game, and possibly make it unplayable for some.
Just imagine what a little supply/demand could do to this game: Now your Caldari Logi suit costs 300k ISK because of demand, sorry. Meanwhile, my Amarr Logi suit goes for 10k each in cheapo bulk discounts. Doesn't sound so bad for me, but some people would rage. |

especially if you think about it that the stuff is on different stations. I thought the "stuff" is merely BPO or BPC? And nanites assembly our gear on the go when we spawn. So technically no matter would be transferred. Only rights to BPO or BPC... Since nature of BPOs and BPCs is digital, the rights to BPO or BPC can be transfered digitally too. Via FTL comm network of New Eden... Yes?/No? Stop thinking logically. |

That would be the best having the supply and demand type of deal. Depending on whats used it will change what price everything is sold at . |

I don't think it would work like that. The only thing right now that would have truly flexible market pricing based on supply/demand would be Officer Weapons, since you cannot purchase those assets on the Base Marketplace. Beyond that, if you have a bunch of assets you don't need and want to make some money off of them, you would likely list them on the Player Market for some amount X where X < Base Market Price. Depending on supply/demand, this number X could be driven down significantly while everyone tries to offload assets that are in very high supply, but the number could never climb above the Base Market Price, as people would obviously have no reason to purchase the asset for a higher price on the Player Market than on the Base Market. |

Yes, and I can't wait to get the market going like it does in EVE.
Gotta travel 15 jumps through low sec/null sec to pick up the goods.
Funsies.
